BORING!!!

It makes me sick that Korean Production Companies still have the audacity to distort queer artworks. If they cannot retain the main element of a novel when having an adaptation, better to have a non-queer one!

I would've understand the reprobation they've done if it's from China, but hello? In Korea, there's no such thing as censorship, so there's no point of turning BL novels into bromance when being adapted into a live series. We don't need someone from the mainstream if it only means stripping the identity of the novel!

Stop turning BL novels into bromance! Have some respect!

This is a great documentary.

Director Zhang Zhehan's first documentary "August", from the director, screenwriter, performance, shooting, editing, he almost all participated, which shows that he is an all-powerful person. This documentary records a journey of his riding in Tibet in August 2023, from which we can feel Zhang Zhehan's sincerity. You can take a closer look. There are not only lovely and kind hearts, but also very beautiful scenery, lovely animals and beautiful love in the film.

An Original Reality Dating Show without the Need for Catty Drama to Drum Up Ratings

Unlike reality dating shows that hail from the West, My Sibling's Romance is absolutely unique and in my opinion, 99% unscripted and 100% wholesome and interesting to watch.

Four pairs of siblings (a brother and sister pairing) live in a house to get to know one another for three weeks. Within a day, they start requesting for a secret date with someone they find attractive. Siblings discuss in secret whom they think would be a good match for the other and their relationships are not revealed until midway through the series.

Drama unfolds when misunderstandings arise between love interests or when the interest is only one sided. I love how the siblings have got each other's backs - aiding the other in gathering information about their love interest and even standing up for them if they feel their sibling has been taken for a ride.

What I find most refreshing is how honest each cast member is and how the audience gets to know their true character and personality over the course of the series. They are not looking for fifteen minutes of fame. With the exception of perhaps one cast member, they are genuinely looking for a potential life partner.

One more episode to go before it is revealed which cast members agree to leave the show as a romantic couple and which ones decide to fly solo.

A good drama to watch

It's not a K-drama so don't expect to see any silly or comical act that makes you laugh until your stomach hurts.

I enjoyed this drama by binge watching the entire drama in one day.

One woman's determination to ensure her only daughter (Sunja) to survive life obstacles and a mother's (Sunja) determination to provide for her unborn child when she decided to decline Ko Hansu's offer to make her his concubine/ mistress shows how strong these females were during the time when Korea was colonised by Japan.

Sunja began her life journey from the moment she decided to take up Issac's offer of giving her unborn child a name for saving him.

It's a story about one should make the right decision that makes him/ her content and happy.

Watch it. It's a good drama.

A very ordinary time travel story

I had high expectations or maybe because the drama created such a hype, I was hoping for something phenomenal like something hilarious, some healing and a love story to remember but nevermind.it was an average rom com story with time travel twist which become very obvious and boring towards the end.

I like the male lead but that isn't enough to be attached with a character or show. I couldn't feel connected to the main characters. I like sun jae at the beginning but his character became unimpressive towards the middle of the show. And I got out of his charms very quickly.
I felt the same for Sol, as someone representing a disable women, I had high hopes for her character but it felt like she didn't cared enough for herself. That was a let down. Both Sol and Sun jae lacked depth in their characters. And there was no relevance of the 2nd leads
Apart from characters, there was no extraordinary plot either. I was Hella bored in between the show. It got super slow. Nothing that amazing happened in the show as I expected. .

Could be really good... could

When my pen pal sent me some edits, I thought I wanted to see it. It interested me right from the start, maybe also because I saw 1000stars only recently and the set with the characters reminded me a lot of this series in combination with Manner of death or The sign. Sounds great, doesn't it? At first it was.

The rules of the two worlds and traveling between them were simple, we had someone to explain what and how it worked, all the characters had their own personality and their actions made sense. Mysterious, tension, feelings and confusion in them... It made sense.

The dynamic of the main characters was amazing, but it's no wonder since Max and Nat have been through something. The side couple also starred, although they only stole my attention at the end. I think they could have been incorporated into the plot a bit more, because somewhere in between the teasing of each other, they certainly had something to offer. Anyway, in the last three episodes, they were the best that was shown on the screen and not just because of THAT scene.

And then came the second half, where some disease appeared that only a possibly non-existent miracle flower could cure, and everything revolved around him. For me, 2W ended with the ninth episode, and I consider the tenth one just a cover that was meant to gag those who wanted a happy ending.

The leads have explosive chemistry

The chemistry between the leads is the saving grace for this movie. Had it been any other actors, i would have dropped it or might not even have considered watching it.

Were they an ordinary couple? Not really. This is an exaggeration of what ordinary couples are. Sure people fight & have on again off again relationship but these two didn't seem to care about each other. The only time they seem to care was when then weren't together. They were at least not ordinary to me. Both were so violent, making it worse for each other. Maybe this is ordinary to someone out there.

I was hoping they would each find someone to calm them down. But they end up repeating the cycle.

Couldn't it have been a happy ending?

Soo.. first of all..
The acting, the casting, the music, the vibes and everything.. fantastic, i swear, but maan, PLEASE.. Really??!
I hope wasn't the only one, who thought while watching the last ep, that what if they'd have done stg against the murder??? Like.. Maybe tell the little Jae Woo's mother, not to let her son out?? or something! oor... (hear me out).. CALL THE POLICE!! MAAAN...
For me, this ending was just dissappointing. I don't think I'll rewatch xdd

Anyways..
Despite of this LITTLE little detail that I just COULDN'T understand, I loved, simply LOVED this show. I've watched a LOT of kdramas, but unlike lot others it really was gripping. I thought it would be a cliché, but it actually turned out to be so wholesome and cute, I almost cried when that mf died. I love them so much. xdd
Another thing I was fond of, is that how Ji Hoon cared about both the older, and especially the younger Jae Woo. I thought it was really beautiful and lovely. Their whole relationship was lovely. I especially liked, that the fact, that they got together, their love, and everything, was not overcomplicated. They accepted it, and moved on. I was really suprised by this, but I was so happy, that i didn't have to follow through their identity crisis xdd. (srry, english is not my first language, hope it was quite clear what i wanted to say xd)
And the scene between the runner of the dormitory and Hyung Jin on the balcony, or what was that, was soo wholesome in my oppinion.

Boring plot yet charming to watch

What an odd series. It was as mundane as can be. I remember when I was watching the first episode and every scene felt so uneventful I was waiting when is something going to happen? And nothing really did. Yet, I wanted to watch more.

It's a story about a family, the parents and three adult siblings living together in the countryside and a new, kinda mysterous drunk neighbor. All of them feel like they are stuck in their life in a way, stuck in a routine or in an addiction or being a very shallow person. And all of them want some sort of change, but honestly? They feel just about the same at the end like the beginning, maybe taking a tiny half step forward throughout the whole time.

I suppose what I liked about it, is the relatability? Trying to fight the mundane everydays, trying to maintain a relationship, survive in a bad workplace, living in a toxic family, etc. Things that so many of average watchers can get behind, yet again, nothing seems to change really by the end. Is that sad? I don't know, it just feels I guess average, realistic. Bittersweet in a way, like what were we really expecting?

What I didn't like though that there was no one trying to stop the alcoholic guy from drinking... pff they actually bought alcohol for him as gifts and such. Like tf? It's something that can actually kill you, no kidding, even if you don't preach against it at least there is no need to support a bad behaviour.

Anyway, even though this whole series sounds kinda boring, it has such a unique charm to it that drew me in, it's interesting. I'd definitely recommend it to young adults.

Same Plot as Chinese version

This show is so similar to like 5 other shows. Obviously it almost exactly follows the Chinese adaptation that came first with a few changes.

The plot and story contents is exactly like Itazura na Kiss (Japanese), Playful kiss (Korean), Love at first kiss (Taiwanese movie), Kiss me (Thai).
Honestly I get these shows so confused in my brain because they are all the same and quite predictable. This makes it harder to enjoy if you've seen any of the others.

Casting wise I like the actors and I think they do a good job in their roles. I mean I like Dew and Prim a lot. Dew seems to play similar roles of being more quite and reserved so this role is great for him.
I like that supporting couple has more screen time than in other shows/movies rather than only focusing only on the Main couple which can get a bit boring.

Prim's wig is freaking atrocious like bro please at least give her a visible part to make it look somewhat real.

Some of the plot is kinda weird like how is Dew a top athlete and also going to be the school mascot?

I will wait to see if anything in this show will stand out from the rest.

Entertaining.... nothing out of ordinary

So... what is out of the ordinary on this one?
* ML takes out his shirt A lot....
* quite a lot of kisses for a short drama
* FL kicks ass... literally

What is ordinary?
Super childish FL.... even though she is very strong in martial arts, in most of the cases she lacks of any type of wisdom.
SPOILER HERE
as an example.... she had kissed & made out with ML, he gave her a ring, made her a necklace, took her everywhere and still says she has no idea if he likes her or not... I mean... seriously?
ML acting is not that great.... nothing there to show up...
he took his shirt very often, but there was also nothing there to show...

this is a typical short drama.. entertaining like junk food to the brain... there are funny moments and the bad guys are hilarious ridiculous...

If you don't have anything else to watch.... check this one ...

the premise of the story is interesting.... a girl that can hear lies and how can she cope with that.
In a world where we are in constant "please others" mode... lying is a giving. So you can imagine what kind of life this girl has.
But as a smart woman... she had made a business out of it.

Here I thought.. GOOD FOR YOU! she is not a victim...

Of course, she meets the ML and there is something strange with him.. (typical.. he is the exception to the rule).
I liked that she behaved very normal with him... even though he is super famous and used to have everybody wanting something from him.
She does not need him... that is a big difference.

their romance started with a sort of friendship and moved quickly into something else... that was nice.

the story itself was OK.... It kept me interested until the end...

I took points out because the end was a bit blah....
SPOILER HERE
she decided not to profit from her gift and stop using it as a business... I do not understand why, instead of evolving with it, she quits it...
her romance with ML was cute / a bit childish too. Again one of the many k-couples that have never kissed anyone else, and behave like teenagers, even though they are 30 year old.

Overall.. it is an OK story... if you have nothing else to watch, it is OK.

Very entertaining,... should be made a longer drama

Well... this was a nice surprise.
Yes, it is a low budget production. Actors were wearing the SAME CLOTHES for every single episode.
Even the king! wearing the same robe, over and over again....
No big special effects or anything like that...

Story was simple.... FL enters into virtual reality game as a beta tester, and gets "stuck" in the game.
Simply.. she can not find the "exit" button., so she has to continue in the game until it ends.
In the meantime, she falls in love with the emperor.... and the character of the emperor falls in love with her.
And as usual.... FL was typically childish, bubbly... etc etc...

ML is not the typical Emperor type. I found him a bit goofy, soft... even though he tried to look tough...
acting was OK...

2ML & 2FL were funny, much better acting.... richer story... I like them more..

SPOILER HERE!
There was a point being made about the insanity of FL... she did not want to quit the game because she was in love of the emperor and did not want to leave him alone... (??)... while the villain tried to reason with her that it was a character in the game... she did not accept that.
Which is weird and unrealistic.... but ey... anything is possible in the land of short C-dramas.

having said all this.... I was glued to the screen until it finished, wondering how would they fix the problems, and what would happen after FL goes back to reality... that's why I rated it very high.

the end left me with more questions than anything... it was supposed to be a happy ending.. seriously? with a character in the game & real girl? How can that be?

again... anything is possible in the land of short C-dramas.

still.... I would love to see this story in a long length drama :)

Wasted potential

The story had a lot of potential but it wasn't executed properly. It was a revenge drama but I didn't see the revenge part anywhere. It was bland and boring. I had a lot of expectations for it as the story seemed promising but the show was a total wasted potential. Good cast, good budget, good story but poor execution. Only if the revenge was properly executed. At the end all the rich kids were still free and happy. None of them seemed guilty. Saying a simple sorry is just not it. It would've been better if there was no love triangle
