9/10 - Great Series

I kept my brain turned on in all 20 episodes. I feel proud of myself. I have to say, this is one of my favorite Korean historical dramas. The first half of this series felt like Hae Soo's story, but then it slowly changed into So's. I can't say I like the ending, but I'm glad Hae Soo was able to change his fate. That was the whole point; her life's mission. I think they all deserved better. But you can't really ask for much from an empire in the 900-980 era.

We need a second season!

I'd been tearing up throughout the episode, but after Soo died, and especially when So saw her urn, I just felt like bawling my eyes out. Lee Joon Gi. Duuuude. You didn't have to go that hard! So's heartbreak felt so true and all-encompassing that it jumped straight out of the screen and into my tear ducts.

And then that awful tease of an ending! I wanted So's reincarnation to meet up with Ha Jin SOOOOO BAD! I'm so upset they left us hanging!

I'm gonna hold out hope for a second season where everyone's reincarnations meet up in Ha Jin's time and they live happily ever after. Wook realises he loves his wife in time (and she gets cured thanks to modern medicine), my sweet baby Eun finds happiness with badass Soon Doek, Beak Ah and Woo Hee overcome the obstacles standing between them, and of course we'll have to find Jung a fitting love interest. And So and Ha Jin get to live out an epic love story.

It needs to happen!

This drama left so many scars in my heart that I have been crying non stop for hours and even ice cream could not help me. I Am so brokenhearted. I nearly died. There are many reasons wee you should watch moon lovers. First of all the cast is amazing and extraordinary. Secondly the ost is perfect, The costumes and the sites will definitely take you back in time.

i didn't know I could cry this much

It's just dumb how something can make you cry rivers, like this drama just ruined me forever. I could feel So and Soo's love through the screen and it was beautiful. Even if they were apart, they longed and loved each other. It just hurts that So wasn't there when Soo passed away, I couldn't stop crying, he will never see her smile again, she won't be there for him anymore. But that makes it beautiful too. Who said love was only happy endings? Of course, I would've preferred instead of Hajin remembering everything, Soo coming back to life in Hajin's body, and then meeting 21st century So, but of course, all we can do is cry and dream about it. But I liked how it ended, So believes they will meet in their next lives, and I believe so too for my sake because I won't stop crying then.

So waited my sorrow to lower down to write this review which completely shakes me up. Truly heartbreaking yet watch worthy. Every relationship is not meant to be have a blessed ending. But far more its the essence of their love to watch this episode.

Snotsobs all round.

This show is so sad, I cried every episode and I broke my ‘happy endings only’ rule.  A friend assurd me it was brilliant. Yes it was great- if you like your heart being ripped out, twisted and stomped on each episode. Great if you’re an emo wanting a good cry.

Watch Scarlet Heart, get 7 Princes for free

Well, This drama has one of the most beautiful cinematic value and ost that i have ever seen. The fact that it got low ratings in S,Korea doesn't mean you have to disregard this drama. No, it is because it competes with the drama Love In The Moonlight. (The power of Park Bo Gum :) Anyway, Back to business, This drama tells a story of  a girl who found herself back in time during The Goryeo Era ( a looong time ago). There she wakes up with a body similars to her but with different name, then she learned how to adapt to the unfamiliar world and and as it would be fate connects her with 7 princes of the era. So, what kind of story will unfold with each of those 7 Princes? Romantic? Funny situations? Mystery? Well,  her decision is very important in this drama as it impacts each of the Princes differently and that effect will change her and all the Princes  as the fight for the throne begins. What is more important to those Princes? Love? Friendships? Loyalty? Power? What will they sacrifices? (This drama is called Scarlet Heart for a reason, so be strong, that is all the advise i'm giving u :)

So beautiful. I cried. And cried. And then started to bawl.

Wow, so stunning. Though I will confess that my mind is turning circles on the time travel thing. Which I will address first so I can get on with my gushing. So future Soo Hae's body was not occupied by the REAL Soo Hae of the past. Instead she almost drowned, passed out, and then was in a comma for a year. While in the past as Soo Hae she lived a pretty long time and did a lot. (Time jumps! Tons of time jumps!!!!) Why didn't the past Soo Hae occupy the future girl? Did she just die and Soo Hae took over all reincarnations? Hmmmmmmm.

Okay, I am a sucker for tragic romances. Though sometimes I'm more angry with them. After all it's the stubbornness and stupidity of the lovers that usually lead to their predicament. In this case you understand both and realize that they're longing for each other and trying to move on is part of that problem. It broke my heart and the grief they had for each other at the loss was moving.

My poor Jung (aka the 14th Prince). It baffles me that Soo didn't KNOW. Then when the 13th Prince comforted him, oh my heart.

Truly everything pulled together well. I'm sure some fans are not satisfied with the ending. However, I love that So believes that he will meet Soo in another life. That he will find her and that they will be together. The ending scene may have not been them meeting up in the future, but it left their tragic romance in one of their happy moments. Love isn't always the good times. With what we see of Soo in the future I believe that they will meet.

While I'm satisfied with this ending I will admit I'd have loved to see them in the future together. More importantly would future So have a scare? ^_-
