Short, sweet, simple, and to the point, this drama special had all the makings of a full length drama in just one short forty-five minute segment. Originally, I wasn't expecting much from this special, but it left me feeling refreshed after watching it - a trait lost on some drama specials.

It had this slightly bittersweet feel to it on most notes, and although it didn't answer some questions I had, I felt like this was for the best. That quality gave it the feel of a slice of life segment, making me want more and yet satisfied with what they gave.

The actors played their parts well and the music made the scenes flow nicely. Not much to say about this since it was so short, but I rather enjoyed this little piece.

Since it was so short, I could see myself watching it again one day while probably waiting for something else to load.

I recommend this for all people who love short and sweet stories with a little slice of life in them!

What a fun, sweet movie! I watched thist as soon as I finished downloading it, and was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to find that the actress who played the main girl Yuna was none other than a big fave actress of mine, Tomoka Kurokawa! Costarring Hiro Mizushima as the forever befuddled Takeshi, the show even made a cute nod to CAT STREET by having Mitsuki Tanimura in a small but revealing cameo!
This show (Drama? Special?) is the one that really did it for me and pushed Tomoka Kurokawa from a passing fancy to a true "Crush" as I can't get her out of my head! The character of Yuna in Kanojo to no Tadashi Asobikata is such a great one- at first seemingly perfect and conceited, little by little, as she and Takeshi go through the motions at school and outside, you see how awkward and insecure she is about herself- moreover, you see just how much she really loves this guy. MAN! Tomoka really SOLD ME!!!!

Surprised with the poor reviews and comments but this is my favorite Japanese story. Its quirky and a lot of fun and has little surprises. Short and sweet and I really wanted more. It is something that I have watched religious every few months since I saw it about 2 years ago. I am a sucker for nice guy stories and this story had the perfect nice guy. It certainly helped that the female lead was smart and bossy which I also loved.
I think one of the strong points of the story is that it is so focused on the two leads almost to a fault without any distractions from other characters.

A wonderful gem and deserving of the award that it won but I can understand that its not for everyone.

I am going to watch it again haha
