Well I have to say, this drama costed me my last NERVES!
I never watched a drama where I would get murderous feelings towards roles in the drama, but I'll give those people a grand applause for their acting for actually making me feel that way!

I mean it's an interesting story and somehow everyone is somehow related to someone else and it's a huge scandal if anyone would find out about it.
Somewhere in the middle I felt like the story was rushing away somewhere else but it got back on track very soon after.

The cast was good, everyone played their role fantastic. It surprises me though that Ithe relationship I was most interested in was between Ye Yi Xuan and Li Yu Xi. Probably because their relationship was the most innocent and without (almost without) any scandal or bad backround thoughts or actions.
I like the main couple - no questions there and I like the actress Mao Xiao Tong, she's so adorable and pure, I think she did a great job!

I wouldn't rewatch the drama again, there was so much scandal and I don't want to get more and more upset although it has a good ending but no...no no...too much scheme.

Overall I still think it's a good drama to watch because you never have the feeling of relaxation because something is happening all the time.
But serioulsy folks, this drama shows us that it is SOO important to communicate and we still won't do it xD

Watched this because of Rachel Mao. See her in Love 020 think she quite cute & adorable. This drama turns out quite good.

In this drama we can see the world is so small. Turn out everybody connection is really closer than you can imagine. Yes some of it I already guess from the beginning, but some of it also a surprise for me. This drama also about love can make people do stupid things, one mistake from the past can't haunt you down in the future and a snake in the grass is the most dangerous ^_^

This drama is one complicated drama that i've ever watched. One problem after another, seems not gonna be done. So much pain for Yu Zhe (YZ) and Jia Ming (JM). But love the ending scene where YZ & JM get merried & everyone relationship are good with each other

YZ love for JM also one of the sweetest thing. If only anyone can fall in love so easily like YZ fall with JM. But i think at one point it's too much sacrifice from YZ side. Until at one point he became stupid man too. Like why he has to bear the responsible for YL accident...?

Seeing the relationship between JM papa and aunt Wu, Yu Xi and Yi Xuan are also so cute & adorable. Seeing old couple dating or trying to date is sometimes really funny & adorable.

I don't think ever hate more character than Yi Lan (YL). She's a selfish and egocentric woman. But she's like that also because she so pampered from childhood, everything she want she must get. She also supported by her crazy grandma & YZ ambitious dad. That's why she insist her love to YZ until it's not love anymore but more just obsession for owning what you can't get.

Sometimes seeing Zhao Han (ZH) is feeling a little bit pitiful. Unreturned feeling is so tiring. A little funny thing when Zh become a snake in the grass for YL, but actually he is really good for YL if only she want to stop being stupid girl faster.

Yan Su played as thai person accent is quite good. And you know what funny from the cast. Mike Angelo who play as Yu Zhe is thai nationality, but Yan Su who play as Kun Jin is Chinese nationality.... ^_^

Overall: A very good drama with problem you can relate with your life. But to re-watch i don't think so. I don't know why... It's a good drama but unfortunately still not intrigue my interest to re-watch

This drama was awesome! The cast were great, handsome and beautiful! The story is okay - it was a mess because all characters are related somehow and it really was too much in my opinion. Although, most dramas have all characters with relation to one another. So it's normal I guess. As for the antagonist acted really well to the point that I want to slap her and another family member of hers. There was one plot of a illegitimate child, that story was interesting  - I was quite excited for the part where someone was exposed. hahaha. There's a lot of drama in this show so the main couples are on and  off a couple times due to secrets, threats, and bribery. I do not know why I continued with this drama even though it seems cliche. However, it did kept me wanting more and waiting for the next episodes to air. It was that good. Although towards the end it got a bit draggy and it was weird that one of the antagonists got off the hook and all of a sudden became nice. Overall, it was a nice drama. One of my favorites but I wouldn't re-watch it due to all the dramas between family members and rivals, etc. It's too much.

This is show is nice. As all Chinese dramas, it's a bit dramatic and all actions have a dramatic reaction. This is a nice drama to watch once, mostly just for some romance and comedy. The story wasn't something new and I thought the main actress was sometimes over doing it but a good drama if you are bored. The main actor was nice and I like how he took showed a bit of interest from the first episode. The second lead (male and femal) were also a bit extra but I guess that goes to most Chinese dramas.

Dramatic to the point of vomiting blood

I really love the drama, the casting and the story. Great acting from the cast.

I did feel it's a little repetitive towards the middle that it is aggravating, but it's overall quite entertaining, thanks to the supporting actors.

The actors did very well coz you will certainly get upset over some incidences and some cast. Towards the middle, I wasn't sure if I'm upset at the crew or the actors, lol. Honestly, how many times are the characters gonna learn to give up or man up!

It is a very good drama though. Many thumbs up!

Nothing new in the story .Same chef love story . First their love story started with hatred then chef gave her task and while she was doing hardworking to complete the task so he started feeling for her and eventually fall for her .Then in between there are story of jeoulosy ,conspiracy, hatred ,revenge and family matters but I think that they extended the story too much which make it little boring .
I like male lead's sister's love story also that one cute one .They both looked too cute .Who likes love story can give it a shot.

So many schemes but keeps me hooked

First of all, yes it is long, yes there are so many schemes. But the schemes were the things keeping me hooked, couldn't drop it, because I really wanted to know when the schemes were exposed.
What I love about this series (SPOILERS WARNING)
- the male lead fell for the female lead fairly early on (single digit episode), and yet I didn't feel it was rushed. I felt they had sufficient interactions that warranted his feelings to be developed for her.
- his love never wavered throughout. He was there for her, almost too good. Except for the time when he stupidly agreed to marry Yilan, which I could also understand why plus Jiaming pushed him to that direction too.
- more realistic financial struggles.
- Each scheme (though so many) were resolved or concluded fairly quickly. And oh the most satisfying one was on the wedding day.
- The characters and the story evoked sooo many emotions out of me. Positive and negative. Even the evil incarnate characters like the grandma and Yilan, because there were so evil that they really caused me to stick to the story just to see how their evil schemes failed. So satisfying at that time.
- Jiaming's dad I think was just great. He's so loving towards Jiaming and when he was wooing Su Ping he was so cute. Good to see relationships developed for the "older" generation. Didn't see that very often in these dramas.

What could be improved:
- It's a bit ridiculous how everyone is connected to everyone else. It's like a spider web of connection. Too much.
- Zhao Han's character was too much, too pathetic. He supposedly loves Yilan very much but I couldn't understand how he could support her schemes and lies, especially against Jiaming whom he cared about as well (cared enough to be willing to quick alongside her in the beginning).
- Some of the schemes could be removed and it would have shortened the drama without changing the core storyline.

Personally, this series warrants a higher rating than (currently) 7.5. If you're on the fence on whether or not to watch this, give it a chance and just know that however frustrating the schemes might made you feel, each one has satisfactory resolution.

Delicious Destiny is a nice drama to watch while waiting for a great one. Many viewers have said it: full of cliché moments and a leading lady that didn't get the right chemistry no matter how much the leading man tried. Most of the cast did a good job bringing their characters to life. The drama is too long, drags sometimes; there are misunderstandings and breakups, and the overuse cliché of self sacrificing for the other that ends up hurting more than helping. It is not a marathon drama, but nevertheless, it is entertaining for the most part. Enjoy it!

The story of this drama is way too easy to guess. I mean from episode one it was kinda going in one direction. I usually try to guess the story of the drama/movie and some good drama/movie actually are easy to guess but they maintain a suspense in the show. This story has a lacked in the suspense department. As for the romance, this drama has maintained an image of innocent and selfless romance but also able to accomplish the title of cruel and selfish one-sided love. The story is about the rich and poor class which I personally hate while watching the drama.

As for the acting, Mike is a Thai actor and it's hard for him to adjust in Chinese language but he did his best. I won't say that his acting was perfect but it was remarkable. As for Mao Xiao Tong, I have a great impression of her in love o2o as a bubbly and funny character which was beautifully played. This character is quite different from the other character but it was hard to believe that she totally nailed it. Other characters like supporting actors were very much annoying 'cause their role was annoying which I guess they have played it very well.

Music was soothing and basically, I barely noticed it because the drama was way too much to handle. This drama has delivered so many emotion like anger, happiness, sadness, frustration, revenge, forgiveness, love, and so much more. For once you are supporting one character and on another, you are hating that character. If you are looking for an example of 'bird with the same feather flock together' then this is the drama.

Overall good drama. I not gonna rewatch this drama cause this is too much for me to get upset about the whole story again and again. As for the other viewers, it depends on their own choice.

Not for people who hate misunderstandings

too much unnecessary problems and obstacles. it feels like all the characters are just there to make the fls life tougher and cause her problems. just couldn't go past 25 eps with the repeat of same misunderstandings again and again and the male lead just stands there and watches her cry. Acting wise I like both of them and have loved them in their previous works but this just wasn't it for me.

I usually don't write reviews but this one was just unbearable to watch and I had to put it out there. Then its ur personal preference of liking it or not.

It was fun at times and other times it somewhere dragged. If you are into the corporate backstabbing/ relationship drama this one is a must watch. The female lead was absolutely adorable and I really loved how she developed over time and grew a backbone that was a force. The male lead was pretty genuine guy who had a passion for his work and for the woman he loved. There were not too many tear jearker moments but there were a few and plenty of moments that will make you giggle a bit. I love the dad and the aunt of the female lead they were so sweet and in sync, it was amazing. 56 episodes, though. That alone says it all. This was like a mini soap opera, but I was descent. I would recommend this as a filler while you’re waiting on a new show or episodes for the more exciting series that you may be watching or anticipating.

The downside to this for me was:
#1 this series has an extremely jealous female in it and I don’t mean plain jealous I mean the one that I will go to any lengths to get the person that she wants that has no interest in her. It teeters on the line of obsession. I really dislike watching series that have supremely desperate females. They border clinically insane and severe denial.
#2 self sacrificing that brings more harm than good.
#3 dislike secrets that drag on tooo long. My thoughts stay on the moment of revelation.

If the second female lead was less clingy and desperate it would’ve been a little more pleasant

Great ingredients overcooked

I feel sorry to give this show such a low rating because this show has actually turned me into a big fan of the two leads, Mao Xiaotong (Song Jiaming)* and Mike D. Angelo (Li Yuzhe). Each has a charisma that easily shines beyond the screen, and together, their chemistry is mesmerizing. It is to their credit that this show was made just barely watchable. Unfortunately, the poor script, overblown plot, horrendous editing, and ridiculous pacing of this series really put a damper on what could have been an excellent performance.

Seriously, there were so many plot holes and incongruences, I finally gave up and skipped ahead to just enjoy the scenes with Xiaotong and Mike. I really hope the two will star together in another show so I can watch them again under better circumstances.

*Note I actually came to this show after seeing Mao Xiaotong in Love O2O. Her character in LO2O was actually quite annoying but something about her made me suspect that she is capable of more so, I am glad at least Delicious Destiny gave me the opportunity to see "Momo" in a different light. I look forward to her next projects. In the meantime, I will also be looking for more of Mike, who is very delicious indeed!
