Can I just say... what the fuvk

Okay so let me start off with the positives. The first episode is the best episode. Honestly just watch that and end it. This show says husbandxhusband instead of making one the wife and I really appreciate that aspect. Then secondly the women in this show are incredibly clever. As much as I disliked one particular character, I had to hand it to her for getting what she wanted. The guys on the other hand, they all had rocks for brains. The kisses between the main two actors were hella passionate and not shy at all, and neither character had the weird shy character flaw that's super cringy even after a character has known the other for a long time.

Now the bads: the plot, and side romances. While yes, the show did stick with the plot it set out to make, so props for that, but overall it was not of high quality. Then all of the side romances felt really inappropriate be it because of age or just the overall hint of r*pe I got from watching them together. While no r*pe occurred, it all felt like pedophilia.

Now, would I recommend this show... no.
Did I enjoy it? Some parts, mainly including yiwha. Just watch a compilation video of her being a bada$$.
Do I regret watching it? Actually yes, I kind of do.

There are so many other shows worth watching over this one(To My Star!!!). Props to the actors, but the script was a no.

Absolutely loved it!

This would be maybe my number 1 BL drama I truly enjoyed with a splash of drama and romance. The chemistry between the actors was splendid! It made me think the actors might be dating in real life. They truly did good to their characters and Max overtook the drama by storm with his acting. I rewatched the protagonists break up scene over and over again as the acting completely stole my heart by storm. Extremely heartbreaking especially when Max who plays Korn kept begging Tul who plays Knock not to leave him.

Personally, I think Tul needs to grow further as an actor, I could see he was trying his best to bring life to his character but sometimes I could see loopholes in his acting especially when he cried it did not seem real and true as his fellow actor. Maengmum who played Yihwa was super cute, she played the supportive true best friend perfectly.

What I didn't like: The relationship of Farm and Bright. Their background story was kind of okay but also very bad at the same time. There was 0 chemistry between the actors. So whenever their parts came I would just skip it. I felt like their story was merely thrust into the script to add another couple with problems and drama but it felt forced and unnecessary. They could have done way better as it took the light away from the main protagonists in a bad way.

However I 100% recommend watching as it was one of my top BL dramas. I truly enjoyed watching it :)

Finally!

First of all, I'm so happy there is such a lovable group of friends, they all have there own personality and not just labelled as "friends with...". The two girls especially: Yihwa and Fai were really great and I like them so much, they are intelligent, especially Yihwa wich really is a cupid, you don't want to mess up with them. Finally some likeable girls in a BL (I know it's not the first ones but they really are useful to the story and not just funny).
Also, the vilain was really a threat but also manipulative with everyone, I personally liked here very much because she wasn't just the "annoying ex" but had so many tricks up her sleeve and she controlled her minions like a mob boss which was fun and intriguing to watch because at some point, Yihwa and Plan was just in a mind game XD.
To me, this series have the most interesting and well developed characters of all the BL's I've seen and the plot is interesting too.
Even though Knock could be annoying sometimes because so selfish with Korn, we could feel the passion between them and the actors were not afraid to touch each other which was more natural.

Flaws:
I felt bed for Farm all along his toxic relationship with the doctor wich really is a creep and was happy when he stopped it but this relation made him evolve in the wrong way for me because he was hurt so much and traumatized.
And like if one abuse wasn't that much, he also was forced by his girlfriend... I hated the fact it was treated to be fun to watch! The music was too lively for this subject, it is not normal.
(Plus the heterosexual relation was uninteresting and I didn't like Korn's sister's character )

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my 3rd BL Series coming from 2gether & Still 2gether and Sotus & Sotus S. I am new in the BL world so its just happen that I enjoy the 2 previous series and so I look for another one and here comes Together with Me. I just read the summary and I said its another University love story and it was common I think for Thailand BL series. When I play the first episode, OMG......
I thought I just played the wrong episode but its not. The story plot was common and realistic but the execution was to the highest level. No inhibition, No boundaries, Fearless. Lets be Honest. For a friendship that was started for so long, a possibility of developing a personal feeling was common specially if one is very open in admitting it. A friends who is very supportive of their relationship and a third party who is willing to ruin everything, I think that's realistic. Well , I don't like the part of the Doctor and the Student relationship but I love the character of Yinhwa here.

But I must admit, Together with Me changes my thoughts and standards with regarding to BL series specially when it comes to the Actors, not specifically the love scenes but for a 2 man to go all the way without inhibitions, that's fearless and that's how you do it. Max and Tul did great here, this is exactly what the story was asking from them. I got a little of shock..ha ha ha. This is the first time I watch a BL series with HC love scene and take note in the first episode. Max and Tul are both gorgeous and hot. The acting was not perfect but until now they are still my bias......

I finished this show last night and thought sleeping would help me sort my thoughts... It did not.

**Spoiler heavy, sorry**

While I like BL, this is honestly my first Thai BL, it was recommended to me.... and I'm not even mad. I mean I am, but I'm not. Lol I really ... just.... wow. Just wow.
This show will make you feel every emotion in nearly every episode and I feel like it's more like a rollercoaster than anything. Lol I really loved the chemistry between Korn and Knock (I now understand MaxTul ship) -- you can't fake that passion and you can't tell me otherwise! lol
But oh my gah .... Korn didn't deserve any of what happened to him. All he did was love his best friend and life really just went insane overnight for him. Pleng needed to be slapped to the ground.... and I mean to the actual ground. How the hell can you be such a trashy person? I get being angry over what happened, but setting everything up the way he did, and using other people ... she is no better. As much as I want to go on about this, I won't because I'll just get pissed all over again and there's other characters I need to go off on. Lol

Kavitra and Phubet -- what the actual fuck was that? From the get go she told him to stay away from her and his skeezy ass just kept going after her. DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND WHAT "NO" AND "LEAVE ME ALONE" MEANS?! This is the perfect example of why women have to worry about men, honestly. Even the kiss scene they had, he really thought he accomplished something. She clearly didn't want that kiss and the fact he thought it was okay makes my skin crawl because of the shit eating grin he had. Why? Just why? You ever think maybe she let you because she was scared? Just throwing that out there. I fucking hated this "couple" -- what was the point of saying "no" THIS WHOLE SHOW and then saying yes at the end? Are you fucking kidding me? You're really fine throwing your teaching career away over some low life dude? Make it make sense.

Ohhhh but the couple that should have never fucking existed and made me want to chew glass and spit nails. Made me so damn sick to my stomach I just wanted to puke the whole time -- you know who I'm talking about, I know you do if you've watched this. Farm and Bright were a shit show. That man damaged that baby in so many ways. And yes, I call him baby. Fight me. I know he is grown but I get "protect little brother" vibes. Lol Bright is such a disgusting sick person from the start. The way he looks at and touches Farm makes my skin want to crawl off my body in disgust. Their "relationship ending" made me forget I was watching a show. I couldn't even think straight. When I tell you how mad I was, I don't even have the words. How do you take a sweet and innocent kid and do that to him on his birthday? WITH NO CONSENT EITHER!! Like it would be completely, and I mean COMPLETELY, different had from the start Bright was like "I'm not a 1 person guy. I want to see other people too". Would have been SSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO gosh damn different had on Farm's birthday he took him out like normal and been like "hey, I know it's your birthday but I really want to try something, let's talk about it". But nooooooo. Y'all, I can't unhear his "please stop" -- I'm about to cry ... scratch that, I'm crying now. That scene fucked me up and I can say it'll take a while to calm down from it.

Moving on, I love Yiwha. Yiwha has to be a Leo. Lol With how nosey and up front she is. She just screams Leo vibes. Hahah I really didn't like her at first because I thought she was just another snobby girl.. I mean she kinda is, don't get me wrong, but she grew on me later in the series. When everything was going wrong, seeing her step up and be like "oh hell no, no one messes with the people I love" -- I loved her and loved hard. Lol They are all lucky to have someone like her as a friend. I know her being nosey is messed up and she got information in a lot of terrible ways, but I'm glad that when she got "secrets" she never did tell anyone. Lol She just hated being out of the loop.... sooooo like a Leo. LOL!!!!!!!

I also adored Fai. She was a unique character to me and I feel like the show would be nothing without her. Also, why they kept her on the sidelines, I will never know. Every time she went on the field, she won the game for them. She should be out there all the time lol

Back to Knock and Korn though... Just for a second... the animalistic passionnnnnnnn OMGGGGGGGGG Just that look on Korn's face. Holy helllll I can't even. Ugh I'm going nuts now haha my brain is ready to explode. XD

when I thought that my favorite BL series is "2 Moons", then after watching this, I would say that this is the BEST BL series I've seen so far..

The acting is really great, no awkward kissing, the couples have chemistry and the story line was really good...and I like that each character has its own story...and the ending was really good..

These are my favorite characters by the way :

*Yihwa - you will never find a girl like her - beautiful, smart, confident and a real friend..i want to have a friend like her...o no, i want to be her!!She is so BAD!
*Farm - if Bas has the cutest face I've seen, I would say that Game has the most innocent face. I love the way he played his character..its cute, funny and innocent. Im kinda sad though on what happened to him on the end
*Farm's ex-girlfriend - I forgot her name..but i really like her. I know that somehow she became a part of the antagonist team, but i never got annoyed or mad at her. almost all of her scenes are cute and funny. And I really find it funny, that while she is still in a relationship with Farm, both of them are trying to catch the pervert doctor's attention.
and of course, our main love team - Korn and Knock -- the chemistry is really great, great actors, no awkward kissing..they are the main reaon why we watched the show..

characters we love to hate :

Pleng - we all hate her. But the actress who played this character really played her role well. She is pretty and good in acting. I like her!

Dr. Bright - at first I liked his character. But on the last few episodes, his real character was revealed..and I am so disppointed and mad at him!!! He is cute and hot...and I am really mad on what he did to Farm..Farm doesnt deserve him. I want them to end up together but base on what happened, I dont think it is possible. One thing that I like about the series is on how they end the Farm and Bright story..its more realistic that they didnt end up together..Honestly, I am so mad at Dr. Bright that I almost forgot that he I Porsche, the sweet husband of Arm...he is the opposite of his character..

If I will have a chance to write a continuation of the story of Bright and Farm, I want them to meet again, talk and try it again.. But i dont want them to end up together.. I just want them to meet again to learn important lessons of life and move on and find happiness...

This series , for me, its satisfying, and the quality of this is really good...its now on top of my BL favorite list..I hope in the future, a new Bl series can beat this!

Just Skip It!!!

I acknowledge this review will have unpopular opinions. Sorry, but I need more than a good-looking cast for a series to be good.

The positive: It has beautiful cinematography and the acting is great. In fact, the actors did such a good job that I disliked many of the characters.

The negative: The main story is nothing new. Two best friends get drunk, have sex, and have to deal with the aftermath. The only “new” element is both of the leads are men. As for the script, it was horrible. I found very little redeeming qualities with Yiwha and Fai’s personality. The overall cast chemistry/vibe was off. They are supposedly good friends but it does not seem it during the series.

Random notes: This is the second BL series that I almost dropped. As to date, this is the first series I regret watching and wished that I had dropped it. Tul and Max are outstanding actors and have great on-screen chemistry. Unfortunately, this series does not do them justice. I strongly recommend watching them in Manner of Death instead.

Best Thai BL drama

This is hands down the best Thai bl drama I’ve watched. I finished watching it in under a day (yesterday) and I’m already thinking about rewatching it. Unlike most popular Thai bl dramas, the story line moved at a very steady and realistic pace, and there were no cringy moments, and there were a lot of intense skinship moments.
The main lead’s friends were actually supportive, interesting and likeable, most of them even had interesting plot lines of their own. Most importantly, they were actually the ones who moved the main story line along (rather than the leads, who were passive at times). I found myself slightly frustrated with the main couple around the middle of the series as one of the ML was a bit cowardly, and kept watching the show for the friend group.
The ending is incredibly satisfying and my only complaint is that (as far as I know) there isn’t a season two, as Queen Yihwa deserves a romantic interest and plot line of her own.
***I just found out that there is a series focusing on Yihwa that actually came out before this drama. I genuinely couldn’t be happier

A decent mix of characters and stories keep things interesting

NO-SPOILER REVIEW

This series has a lot going on. Lots of friends and side couples/stories mean there's a lot to keep up with. Some of these stories are much more compelling than others. An overall plot eventually emerges which drives the entire series forward, but some of the plot points end up feeling somewhat manufactured instead of organic.

Pros
- Attractive leads with good chemistry and an interesting story.
- The overall plot that emerges keeps you coming back for more.
- A variety of great characters and stories including a strong female character that actually doesn't play into some tired drama stereotypes.

Cons
- Some parts of the plot felt very forced and unrealistic.
- Some characters and their motivations can seem unbelievable and frustrating.
- No real OST to speak of felt like a big missed opportunity.
- The eventual resolution to the story felt comparatively flat compared to some of the other more intense moments.

Overall
- Worth watching for the variety of interesting and compelling characters.

It was good. And that's it.

What I liked:
I liked the chemistry between the main couple, and the friends are amazing, especially Yihwa.
I must admitt that Max and Tul have an awesome chemistry and that part of me want them to be together in real life. I liked a lot the cute moments between the characters.
I agree with a person that wrote a review, that Max acting was really good.
I liked the teacher and student romance, it was slow (not complaining) and could have had more screen time.

What I didn't like:
I was a little mad that Knock was always forgiving his girlfriend and I didn't like that doctor at all.
The last 4 episodes I watched jumping scenes, because I was kinda tired of the drama. It was repetitive and I was getting angry at Knock.
I wanted to watch Together with me 2 but I saw the trailer and probably I'm just gonna watch Korn and Knock's story, because I really don't want Farm with the doctor, I think he deserverd someone better. In my opinion it was a toxic relationship, that I was going to find good if Farm had had another ending.

Overall I'm not saying that it's not good to watch and that you're not going to have fun. But just be aware that can be not so good.

You know, this could have easily been a 9 if not for the horrendous second half.
This drama started off amazing, it felt like the writers knew exactly how to make a perfect BL drama - likable leads, actual kissing and intimacy, a lot of sexual innuendos, the best supporting cast I've seen in a BL so far, seriously - the best, Yihwa is amazing, a little bit of drama but nothing to annoy you. Honestly, I was having the best time of my life.
But somewhere along the middle the drama got out of hand. Plern Pleng, Knocs's girlfriend, is a...I'm trying hard not to write anything too nasty :)...she's just a baaad person, her goal was to ruin our leads' relationship basically and you know I was fine with it at the start, because - drama! That's why we came here. But honestly the biggest pet peeve of mine when it comes to BL dramas is that at least one of the leads just haas to have a girlfriend on the side. Why? You're gay, bi, whatever, just admit it! The girlfriend did all that was in her power to make the life for these boys miserable and Knock fell right into it which made me have very conflicting feeling about his character. On one hand I like him, he has great chemistry with  Korn and on the other hand he's weak willed and indecisive. This push and pull just went on for too long. Seeing Knock basically two timing is frustrating and this ruined a lot of my enjoyment.
Another detail that was frustrating is the relationship between Farm and Bright. Every time the directors attempted to show Bright as a good person made me very annoyed because he is not, he's a manipulative a-hole and I'm confused as to why they even decided to portray such a relationship because it lead to nowhere, left me feeling like Farm's story needs a sequel because the conclusions weren't satisfying enough.
Honestly, overall I enjoyed this drama, the pros I mentioned at the begging stay, it's just the drama that goes a little astray. If you're into BL then You'll surely enjoy this because there is a lot to like here.

I love the chemistry between the lead actors. Max and Tul did a great job playing Korn and Knock. I loved their story. I love how Korn was totally into Knock, and Knock was going through this identity crisis, but not really. Because I don't think we really see him struggling with the fact that he slept with a man, but rather with the fact that he's losing his friend because of it and how to proceed with that. Yes, along the way he questions what he's feeling towards his friend. Idk if i'm making sense. To me, it seemed like Knock's probably a canonically Bi character from the beginning. Even if neither Korn nor Knock are necessarily "out", they seem to both be comfortable being gay or bi, in their private world, but seem indifferent to being outed. This seems to be a totally 180 from Bad Romance and TWM:The Next Chapter which are both set in the future where they are paranoid about being outed and get angry and have outbursts about it.

I found some aspects of the story a little far fetched and unrealistic, especially where Plern Pleng was concerned, but that's probably just the pragmat in me. I think most people probably liked the unnecessary drama.

I loved Korn's sister. I wish she was more present and more wholesome as a character. Also, I'm pretty sure, student-teacher relationships are prohibited because of the power imbalance and it has nothing to do with it being on or off-campus. I mean I was totally rooting for that couple, but the logic there was totally invalid. haha.

Yihwa is probably the best character in the history of nosy pushy best-friends. I totally adore her and how involved she was in her best friend's love life.

Also, this ending totally messes with the continuity of Bad Romance, but I digress.

Bright/Farm really creeps me out. I really don't like Bright. Except for his interactions with Knock.

P.S. For people saying Knock sleeping with Korn was consensual. Drunk sex is not consensual sex. Your judgment is impaired, you cannot give consent when you are drunk. Also, just because someone is not actively saying no, doesn't mean they are saying yes. Sometimes our bodies react to external stimulation without us realizing (if you're talking to someone hand them something, they will take it without question, conversely if they are holding something and you hold you're hand out to them, they will hand it to you without realizing it - but you need to be deep in discussion). I know this is a point of contention for a lot of people as many people hook up in bars/clubs after drinking. But, if someone claims rape after a night of drinking, it can be considered valid as drinking impairs judgment. Also, consent is a changing thing, just because someone gives consent at one given moment, doesn't mean that consent cannot be taken away if they become uncomfortable later on. They can rescind consent.
