Ah Yi has a mother Jung Hee Mand a grandmother. She is a happy kid as long as she has a meal to eat, but her grandmother, who prepared meals for her, dies. Jung Hee was a popular songwriter. She cut herself off from the world after a scandal broke out involving her and a married producer. For her daughter Ah Yi, Jung Hee goes out of her house for the first time in 15 years and begins work at a restaurant run by Ki Bok. Jung Hee quits her job before her first day is even halfway complete. She collapses with gastritis and the doctor tells her to eat well. Ah Yi decides to take the job at the restaurant where her mother worked.
