I decided to watch ''Crying Out Love, In The Center of the World'' without knowing too much about it, and it surprised me a lot, because it's a fantastic film.

The story is completely beautiful. Yes, it's very sad, but it's a fantastic story. Many people say this film is too slow, but I didn´t think so. In my opinion, the pace was perfect for this story.

The acting was great. Mirai Moriyama and Masami Nagasawa were fantastic, especially Masami. Ko Shibasaki was very good too, but she has a rather small role in the film. Takao Osawa was the weakest one, but he was very good too.

The music was quite simple, but it fitted the story and the tone of the film perfectly. The song at the end credits was beautiful.

I also have to mention the cinematography. It was gorgeous.

To sum up, ''Crying Out Love, In The Center of the World'' is a beautiful but sad film about first loves and how those have in an influence in our lives, even when we grow up. I'll definitely watch it again soon.

P.S. The book the film is based on, which is titled ''Socrates in Love'', is even better. I really recommend it.

Hm, what was it? Music? Story? Cast? Ah, what was it?! Something...fell short during the movie. For some reason I didn't get emotionally attached to the characters, which is odd for a romance movie. Usually you root for the characters and cry when they cry and laugh when they laugh. However that didn't happen here. I wish I could figure out why! Overall the acting was amazing, the story was decent (though it did drag from time to time), and the music was unremarkable. To be completely honest I don't recommend this movie. I feel like I wasted 2 hours of my day. Oh well. It was worth a shot.

My first...no...second japanese movie watched in the cinema.
I love this movie.
Most of the ppl who watched this movie think that the movie is lacking something.
Its the speed that is lacking, but I love slow drama and movies.

The story is heartwrenching, if you are also built near waters.
The acting is very very very good. The kids and adults are doing a great job.
The music fits very good and the theme by Ken Hirai is still one of my favs.

Every year I watch this mvie again and will watch it again.

Watch it if you are okey with the slow pace.
I don't think its a waste of time. One of my favorite movies.

[WARNING: the rating and review I give have the possibility to be subjective due to my preference for the genres, scenes or casts]

The back and forth plot is one thing that I love from the movie, makes me think more (^_^;) and this movie provide that. If you're on the bad mood, don't watch this movie because you will cryーor at least your mood become worse. This movie quite sad, but for me didn't bring tears. The helpless feeling from Akiーespecially when they were at the airportーwas quite suffocating. She's too young and life to be that suffer. It's amazing to know that they all connected somehow at some point.

P.S. Young Takahashi Issei is so cute! (´• ω •`) ♡
