Summary: Izumi Noda works at a library and loves books. One day her friend takes her to a single party( even boy vs girls- you know the type girls on one side of the table boys on the other in hopes to connect). Izumi dose not want to be there and ends up sitting alone until Nell walks up to her. My first thought is 100% creeper trying to get the shy girl drunk but instead they just talk. She correctly guesses his job: architect and surprises him. From that point on, he is always around her at work- trying to get her to go out with him. In the end he convinces her to take a drive with him to go to a library.. in the end its the dream location for his library project. They end up connecting and he says he likes her. Now the next bit is her friend is eating with her bf and Nell joins them.. her friend over hears the boys talking about a bet on getting Izumi. Her friend is pissed and confides that Izumi dose not interact with others as her past bf died going to see her. As an friend would do- she runs to Izumi to inform her of the scam. Izumi ignores Nell's calls-but he comes to her house, he tries really hard to explain himself but can only leave his art work there. Izumi spends her days thinking about what had happened, looking at the art work , and conversations she had with Nell. One day she calls him, they meet up....talk about feelings. Next thing you know he is leaving for school..and Izumi says she loves him. They hug and kiss. He leaves. She goes back to her library. Then we see he's sending photos and writing to her... and she is learning Spanish- "this is not the end of my story" or something like that. The End.

Now this is a more simple story about love. Not really a lot of plot.... a total 5 people speak( and 2 very little of the 5). I guess love grew from nothing as they really only had one date. They have no family...no plans. The acting is fine but I just do not see sparks or them having an emotion connection other than from that one date. Also idk if there is any reason to say he is Latin - his mom is half so he is 1/4 but really dose not come into play.- if anything he needed to be a latin lover... that's what I thought would be why they said that instead of the reason for him wanting to be an architect.
This has no rewatch value and I would not recommend unless you want a very simple easy to watch movie.
