DISRESPECTFUL AND RACIST DRAMA. TAKE IT DOWN AND APOLOGIZE!
"You look like a Filipino maid" some says that it was mistranslated but it still remains the same. Your Racism towards Filipinos remains the same. You Chinese citizen are mad if people from other country disrespect you. You even forced a 15 year old girl to apologize for holding the flag of her own country wherein she was raised, what an unreasonable monsters. You would even backlash and send all the hates towards that person. but now, you did something very very very wrong that you should apologize for. To be honest, east-asian racism towards South east-asian is so normalized people never talk about it AT ALL. NOW, APOLOGIZE SINCERELY TO FILIPINOS. What that translator did is such a shameful act. i don't know why ppl esp filos will say that "i dont find this racist or rude whatsoever" the whole scenario is he didn't like the girl bcs he looks like a filipino maid.. like ur really insensitive if you don't find it rude. YES there's nothing wrong with being a maid but this is a harmful stereotype that can harm filipinos in the job market + it's wrong to use that as a derogatory matter esp with the current power relations between the two countries. Now let's talk about chinese racism against non-chinese and southeast asians that is highly overlook today. don't ever say that "iTs juST a drAma" like we're tired of it this small racist things shouldn't be tolerated at all. "actors are not to blame" if u have a basic human decency you can freely appeal and call out the scripwriter,director or whoever staff it is to change the script. all of them are in the same boat.Was this review helpful to you?
Not recommend to watch
Note those who says that this drama is good they are obviously not filipino and they cannot feel it...They are obviously from the cast of the drama they are just commenting good comments because their drama are low rated already they wanted to raise the rate of their drama it's so obvious I read in the comments that his/her mother is a Filipino and a ofw/maid she says that he/she recommended the drama and doesn't care of the racism it looks like she/he wanted to tolerate racism and just don't care imagine if your really a Filipino you will obviously feel angry Especially it's your mother who is included....Was this review helpful to you?
