Respect to the Firefighters!!!
Firstly let me start by saying the I salute all firefighters, if they go by what i saw hats off to them.I liked the series, mainly for Yang Yang, and he did look good in uniform.
I loved how the series just went straight into it, and they never dragged on the past, accept for a few back story line which they did jump too, but it was nice and short and they did not stay too long or dwell in the past.
The doctors were also played they part well, and they did make it look like they knew what they were doing in terms of the doctor roles, qin qin was a bit annoying in certain episodes, especially at the parts where she knew what her mother was doing was wrong, but she was too timid to say anything. Wow talk about a controlling parents, esp that mom, holy hell, she was something else, the 1 part that kind of hit nerve with me, was when her son got arrested and the comment or line she said, money can be everything or nothing can be resolved without a price, I guess for the super rich that would really be the case, and it does hit a nerve, watching a lot of rich people buy the way through life and have no sense of obligations for others.
The firefighters role was really pleasing to watch, and the training they have to endure, for risking there lives in order to save a stranger, who in the end will probably not be thankful. the scenes in which the firefighters showed cased were really good, and look realistic, I think the most heartwarming or tough episodes to watch was ep 39 when the typhoon hit, and it made more grateful then anything that my country does not see those kind of disasters.
Overall : This drama was really good and of course i love Yang yang, and he really good and well matched in this drama.

Memorable memories of hard work
I would honestly rate this drama a 9.5 but I just couldn't help but rate it a 10. Personally for me it's one of those dramas where you may find yourself skimming through some parts of episodes but you can't help but to end up loving the drama. This drama holds a special place in my heart with the portrayal of the work behind firefighters and doctors. The OST "Ni De Da An" aka "Your Answer" is what made this drama a 10 for me. That OST plays during scenes of hardship and success of the firefighters which is very memorable. I love the romance in this drama especially the bromance.Was this review helpful to you?
Real Life Drama
I don't know why this drama getting hate or others not liking it but to each their own, we have our own tastes and preferences but for me this is one of the best drama of 2023.I'm used to watching kdrama but this hits different. First i want to mention i am so in love with Wang ChuRan she's like a Goddess and YangYang's an eye candy too but all the casts acting stands out, brilliant performances from them both in drama, action, romance etc.
I also love how we see Doctors, Nurses, Army, Firefighters line of work and their dedication to what their duties are. This drama deals with struggles and hardships in real life and it had so many lessons to learn and pick up while watching.
Highly recommended to those that like this kind of style, It is long with 40 episodes but it was all worth it in the end. Also i might be ahead of myself but for me this has the best last episode in all dramas i've watched. I hope we can get season 2 or another drama from ChuRan and YY.

This is full stop an advertisement for joining the firefighting service with a nod to other frontline emergency services. All the plot and lingering scenes are devoted to their heroic ever sacrificing adventures. There is no overarching plot or theme, just an 'episode of the week' emergency.
In the background is a truly addictive romantic plot, with the female lead's family being truly villainous in keeping our two main characters apart. The actors do have charisma and chemistry. But, this is stretched out so long and given so little time, that at 22 episodes in I just can't stick with it.

I have watched over 260 and only dropped a couple I dropped this
5/10 is my rating. This is 2023 Chinese Action Romance drama with slices of medical and fire emergency life. There are 40, approximately 45 minute episodes. Adapted from the web novel “Waiting For You in a City”
First I provide a unique synopsis then review.
Synopsis
Song Yan (Yang Yang) and Xu Quin (Wang Chu Ran) fell in love in high school but their social status was very different leading to Xu Quin’s mother driving them apart. After breaking off their relationship, Xu Quin leaves to study abroad.
It has been ten years since Song Yan has seen the girl who shattered his heart and he is not ready to start up where they left off when their paths cross again. He has excellled in his chosen field, firefighting, and while his goal is to become successful enough to stand before anyone it does not mean he plans to forgive and forget. Xu Quin is an emergency room doctor and finds her path crossing Song Yan’s frequently. Her desire is to win Song Yan back.
Can the two resolve the past and find a new path to love?

I stopped watching after episode 9 as I found it too slow and boring. I do not know how two such exciting careers could be portrayed in such a hum drum manner but they were able to. If you like series that are heavy on the dramatic element you may be okay with It.
I do not quit watching many, I will usually muscle through if there is just one aspect I do not like. But there were so many things I did not like. i thought they seemed horrible for each other, he was whiny, she was clingy and selfish, and it was boring. I was not interested in watching another 31 episodes of a drama where I did not care if the couple got together nor to see more of their jobs.

I found the male lead character whiny and abrasive. He took his moods out on everyone around him. It is not an admirable trait. His relationship with his best friend had a very gay vibe. Men do not tend to act jealous and cry over other men in a typical friendship. They were also very touchy feely to the point if they kissed I would not have been surprised. Some like boy love series and that is fine. It is not my preference so it felt misleading to have two supposedly heterosexual characters act very homosexual in their interactions with each other. I have seen the actor in other roles and he is very manly, handsome and charismatic but I was disappointed in this role.
The female lead character sees him after a decade and then rather than slowly trying to win him over she comes at him like a sledge hammer. She also did not seem to have overcome the issue with her mother making it likely she would break his heart again..

This is a beautiful love story.
The best cdrama for me so far! the acting, the casts, the heart fluttering moments, the chemistry, the story, the visuals, the plot, the slow burn and realistic romance. beyond wonderfully made. 100/10. just getting better each episodes, no less. highly recommended. must watch. must be known to every cdrama/kdrama fans. this drama deserves recognition not just in china but in the rest of the world. I mostly see her in historical drama but this is beyond amazing their chemistry is everything they deserve an award.I love their relationship very much, the chemistry between them is very beautiful and the story of the drama was very beautiful. I wish I could see them together again.??Yang Yang and Wang Chu Rang make excellent performance and chemistry ?❤?.... it wasn't easy for them after the break up to her be bold and defend their love, to him learn forget and forgive, overcome the fear to feel pain again..... a beautiful drama.... like always great edition your video❤???.To be honest,the main reason I watch this drama is because of Yang Yang and second reason is Wang Chu Ran.Yang Yang and Wang Chu Ran is my dream couple.I never thought that they will act together.This make me even more excited.Was this review helpful to you?

Logo de cara me agradou o tema do drama, bem estilo descendants of the sun! Então, eu acabei criando expectativas...- Atuação da Chu Ran - Eu achei sem expressão com a mesma cara de tristeza/ meio lerda na maioria das cenas. A personagem dela é muito songa monga, sem sal e chata. Ela não é decidida e isso me irritou! Eu entendo que ela é controlada pela mãe mas boa parte do drama - até eles ficarem juntos - ela é mto acomodada com a situação e não faz nada para mudar.
- Atuação do yang - é boa principalmente dos treinos e salvamentos. Personagem indeciso. Ele afasta a prota, depois aproxima e fala que tudo vai ficar bem e depois finge que não disse nada e isso tudo antes deles ficarem juntos!!! Me irritou! Depois que o casal se acerta e as atitudes deles mudam, melhora muito a trama. As cenas de pegação são boaas, todas as cenas de casal são otimas mas demora muuuito pra acontecer. *+ ou - uns24eps*kkkk
- O irmão da prota - o que dizer dele? E o "interesse romântico" dele? Eu juro, eu ate torci por eles mas que final foi aquele? Sem comentários.
- A mãe da prota - Fez muito bem o papel dela. Bruxa! Chata!
Pontos altos: Ação, companheirismo dos rapazes e o romance*depois de mto eps*. Gostei muito dos bombeiros/medicas, os tios e até da prima chata, agregaram bem o drama com suas estórias.
Mas no overall, que drama arrastado apesar de ter cena legais de ação, não ficou balanceado pra mim. Acho que foi quando eles ficam juntos que meu deu um gás pra terminar o drama pq se não já teria dropado antes, mas tbm eu já tinha ido longe demais pra desistir, eu fui forte e terminei!!

Ich mag seine peronalität nicht, sie machte fast alles was seine Mutter sagte . Und alles was seine Mutter gesagt hat, hat so aggressiv gemacht. Sie hatte dann auch alles gemacht ...

Die Storyline war sehr cliche, z.b. you are my hero, descantants of the sun....
Zusammen sahen sie sehr gut aus, aber diese Liebesszenen waren ein bisschen wenig.
Die Schauspielerei war sehr toll, möchte es sehr. Yy war sehr gut, wcr war auch sehr gut.
Es ist sehr komisch dass der ml einf dem Vater vergeben hat, obwohl er soviel schädliches ihm angetan hat. Passte nicht zu seiner personalität und es hat einf so aggressiv gemacht dass er keine Rache nahm. Yaya alles Kraft der liebe, aber passte einf nicht zu der Geschichte. Die Geschichte ist ausgerichtet realistisch, aber keiner auf der Welt würde es in der Realität tun.
Ich würde es besser finden wenn man die Schul Szenen in den ersten paar Episoden macht und nicht in flashbacks, aber meine Meinung.
Und dass der second lead nicht mit diesem Mädchen zusammen gekommen ist, ist auch nicht das beste.
Die Musik möchte ich sehr, passte auch.
Ich genoss die traurigen Szenen sehr, und solche Militär, feuerwehr, arzt Geschichten sind sowas von meins.
Es gab traurige, aggressiv, Action, witzig, liebes, fröhliche Szenen alles dabei.
Insgesamt mochte ich es.
Wenn dir alles was ich nicht mag dir gefällt, kuck es .

Toca temas realistas y te hace pensar sobre algunos valores que conlleva tanto el trabajo de medico como de bombero.Te hace pensar.
El trabajo de médico es solo un trabajo?? o tiene que tener algo más? emociones? humanidad?
En un momento me hizo acorda la pelicula: Salvando al soldado ryan por ejemplo. vale la pena arriesgar la vida de los bomberos por una persona que esta en peligro?
La trama es entretenida. El amor entre ellos siempre esta presente. La recomiendo.
Esta a la altura de otras series chinas de 10 puntos!

O roteiro, apesar de ser uma temática bastante conhecida e com elementos, muitas vezes, previsíveis, o roteirista não poupou emoção, mas, felizmente, não exagerou nas mortes dos personagens. O drama teve um andamento agradável, não houve capítulos cansativos e nem correria na finalização, apesar da finalização não estar à altura do drama.
Os personagens são apaixonantes, exceto a mãe da protagonista, mas o roteirista amenizou e ofereceu uma redenção no último capítulo.
As atuações do elenco são primorosas. Os atores Yang Yang e Zhang Bin Bin, logo do início do drama, protagonizam cenas emocionantes e há uma cumplicidade em cena muito bonita. A morte do personagem Zhan Da Peng, após a cena do encontro com a médica Li Nan, era previsível, mas, mesmo assim, foi muito emocionante.
O romance não era ruim, mas demais cenas eram tão interessantes, que o romance se tornou um complemento do enredo.
A trilha sonora é agradável e bem utilizada para amplificar a emoção das cenas.
