Seo Hyun Woo joins Sung Joon as one of the villains in the upcoming "The Fiery Priest Season 2"
IU and Park Bo Gum are the next K-drama couple we should anticipate.
On January 27, production company Pan Entertainment confirmed that IU and Park Bo Gum will partner up for the upcoming K-drama "You Have Done Well" (translation from a Jeju dialect).
"You Have Done Well" will be the collaboration work of director Kim Won Suk ("My Mister," "Signal," and "Misaeng: Incomplete Life") and writer Im Sang Choon ("When the Camellia Blooms" and "Fight for My Way").
According to the production company, the K-drama is undergoing planning and it will begin its filming in the first half of 2023.
This will be the reunion of IU and director Kim Won Suk. The two have worked together in the 2018 hit series "My Mister."
The production company Pan Entertainment shared, "We are reassured to be with the best stars Lee Ji Eun (IU) and Park Bo Gum. The actors, director, and writer are actively preparing well so that the drama can touch the heart of the viewers."
IU will portray the role of Ae Soon. She is a rebellious woman but still gets nervous whenever she acts rebellious. Although she's not rich, she lives a life full of positivity. She is a bold character who doesn't hide her feelings. Although she wasn't able to study, she still dreams of becoming a poet.
This will be the comeback of IU to the K-drama scene after four years. She last starred in the 2019 K-drama "Hotel del Luna." IU will also star in the upcoming movie "Dream" with Park Seo Joon, Kim Jong Soo, Ko Chang Seok, Jung Seung Kil, and Lee Hyun Woo.
Park Bo Gum on the other hand will play the role of Gwan Shik. He is a diligent and reserved character. He only loves Ae Soon from the beginning and gives all his love to her.
This will also be the comeback K-drama of Park Bo Gum ever since he got discharged from the military. He was last seen in the 2020 K-drama "Record of Youth." Just like IU, Park Bo Gum is also set to star in a new movie. He will be joining the film "Wonderland" together with miss A's Bae Suzy, Choi Woo Shik, and Jung Yu Mi.
