Choi Won Young confirmed to star alongside Nam Ji Hyun and Moon Sang Min in 'Dear Bandit'
Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook received the offer to lead a new fantasy K-drama.
On March 28, media outlet OSEN reported that Jun Ji Hyun and Ji Chang Wook are set to work together in the upcoming fantasy K-drama titled Human X Gumiho. Reports stated that Jun Ji Hyun is positively discussing her casting while Ji Chang Wook is one of the actors that got the offer to lead the series.
Human X Gumiho will be the next work of writer Im Me Ah Ri. She is known for being the assistant of renowned writer Kim Eun Sook (The Glory, Goblin, and Descendants of the Sun). She gained popularity after she worked on the K-dramas Doom at Your Service and The Beauty Inside.
The upcoming K-drama will reportedly be produced by High Zium Studio, the company behind Doctor Slump and Hellbound Season 2.
As of now, the broadcast details and premiere date for the fantasy K-drama are not yet finalized.
If Jun Ji Hyun confirms her casting, this will be her comeback to the fantasy genre after four years.
The top actress will also make a grand comeback to the small screen in the upcoming Disney+ series Tempest. She will work alongside Kang Dong Won, Kim Hae Sook, Lee Mi Sook, Yoo Jae Myung, and Park Hae Joon.
Meanwhile, this K-drama will possibly be Ji Chang Wook's third upcoming K-drama.
Just recently, he was officially confirmed to lead the upcoming series Scandal with Son Ye Jin and After School's Nana.
He will also star in the upcoming Disney+ K-drama The Manipulated. He will work alongside EXO's Doh Kyung Soo, Lee Kwang Soo, Jo Yoon Soo, Yang Dong Geun, and Jung Heon.
Ji Chang Wook will also return to the big screen with the new film Colony.
