Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Kim Dong Hwi is in talks to lead the upcoming drama "80 Billion Boy" (literal translation) about cryptocurrency.
On July 18th media outlets reported that Kim Dong Hwi have been picked as the main lead of the upcoming drama "80 Billion Boy."
Kim Dong Hwi's agency Ace Factory hasn't responded to the reports.
"80 Billion Boy" will depict the journey of a boy who entered the world of cryptocurrency early and used his big funs to carry out a secret operation.
Kim Dong Hwi received the offer to play the role of Ah In, an immature son during the day, but a great bitcoin trader at night by using his natural hacking skills.
"80 Billion Boy" will be the next project of director Jang Ji Won who directed the short film "Seven And A Half."
The broadcast details is is still under discussion.
Kim Dong Hwi made his name known after being part of the 2020 series "Stranger 2." He was the criminal who kidnapped Lee Joon Hyuk's character in the series.
He was also known for being the main lead of the 2022 film "In Our Prime." He got the main lead role after competing with over 200 aspirants. He worked alongside Choi Min Shik, Park Byung Eun, Park Hae Joon, Jo Yoon Seo, and Noh Jong Hyun.
The actor has also starred in several films such as "The Royal Tailor," "Phantom Detective," "Where to Go," "Journey to the Shore," and more.
Kim Dong Hwi is also set to join the second season "Missing 2" with Go Soo, Heo Joon Ho, Ahn So Hee, Ha Joon, and Lee Jung Eun. He will also be part of the upcoming movie "A Christmas Carol."
