Lee Do Hyun will reportedly be part of the upcoming JTBC drama "Bad Mother."

On August 23rd, the media outlet Dispatch reported that Lee Do Hyun will be one of the main casts of the upcoming drama "Bad Mother." Ra Mi Ran was the first to receive the offer to be part of the drama. 

Lee Do Hyun's agency Yuehua Entertainment responded to the reports and stated that the actor did receive an offer to star in "Bad Mother." They also stated that Lee Do Hyun is positively considering the offer. 

"Bad Mother" is a healing comedy drama about a mother who made her son become a prosecutor but lost his memory due to an accident. Ra Mi Ran got the offer to play the role of the mother named Young Soon.

Lee Do Hyun on the other hand will play the role of the son named Kang Ho.  

"Bad Mother" will be helmed by director Shim Na Yeon ("Beyond Evil" and "Moment at Eighteen"). The script will be written by Bae Se Young ("Extreme Job" and "Stellar: A Magical Ride"). The series will be produced by SLL and Film Monster. 

The upcoming series will reportedly premiere in 2023. The production is currently in the process of casting.

If Lee Do Hyun confirms his casting, this will be his second drama for 2023. He is also set to star in the upcoming series "The Glory" together with Song Hye Kyo, Im Ji Yeon, Park Sung Hoon, Yeom Hye Ran, and Jung Sung Il. He will also join the upcoming film "The Unearthed Grave." 

For 2022, Lee Do Hyun only appeared in the short film "Reincarnation Love" with Go Min Si

The actor last starred in the 2021 series "Melancholia." 

Lee Do Hyun is known for being part of the dramas "Prison Playbook," "Thirty But Seventeen," "Clean with Passion for Now," "Hotel del Luna," "18 Again," "Sweet Home," "Youth of May," and more.
