Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
Oh Jung Se will reportedly join the upcoming K-drama Mr. Plankton.
According to several media outlets on April 17, Oh Jung Se will be joining Woo Do Hwan and Lee Yoo Mi in the upcoming romance comedy K-drama Mr. Plankton.
Oh Jung Se's agency Prain TPC responded to the news. According to them, actor Oh Jung Se is currently reviewing the offer to star in the upcoming OTT K-drama.
If Oh Jung Se confirms his casting, this will be added to his long list of upcoming works. The actor is set to star in the upcoming series Sweet Home Season 2, Ask the Stars, The Devil, and Sweet Home Season 3. He will also take part in the films High Five and Cobweb.
Oh Jung Se is known for being part of several hit K-dramas such as Misaeng: Incomplete Life, When the Camellia Blooms, Hot Stove League, It's Okay to Not Be Okay, The Good Detective, Jirisan, Little Women, and more.
Mr. Plankton is a romantic comedy drama that will reveal the story of people who can't connect well with anyone just like Plankton. The series will showcase the journey of a man who became a wanderer not by choice because no one wants him to stay.
The upcoming K-drama will be directed by Hong Jong Chan (Juvenile Justice and Dear My Friends) and written by Jo Yong (It's Okay to Not Be Okay).
If Oh Jung Se officially joins the K-drama, this will be his reunion with writer Jo Yong. The two worked together in the series It's Okay to Not Be Okay.
Oh Jung Se got the offer to play the role of Eo Heung. he is a frustrating oriental medical doctor.
Mr. Plankton will reportedly have 10 episodes and will be released through an OTT platform. According to reports, the upcoming K-drama will begin filming after the production finalizes the casting.
