Park Hae Soo in talks to reunite with Jeon Do Yeon in a new thriller mystery K-drama
Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo to lead the upcoming KBS drama "Minamdang: Case Note"
On November 16th it was confirmed that Seo In Guk and Oh Yeon Seo will be working together for the upcoming mystery comedy-drama "Minamdang: Case Note." The drama will be directed by Go Jae Hyun ("Player") and penned by screenwriter Park Hye Jin ("The Emperor: Owner of the Mask").
"Minamdang: Case Note" is based on a popular web novel with the same name. It will revolve around a former profiler, a homicide detective, and the mysterious cafe Minandang. Seo In Guk will play the role of a former criminal profiler who became a shaman along with his colleagues. Oh Yeon Seo will play the role of Han Jae Hee, a third-year homicide detective. Actor Kwak Shi Yang will also reportedly join the drama.
"Minamdang: Case Note" is set to start filming this year. The premiere of the drama will be in the first half of 2022 and it will exclusively air on KBS.
This drama will be the second upcoming drama project of Seo In Guk. Aside from "Minamdang: Case Note," Seo In Guk will also lead the new MBC drama "Smoking Gun." The actor last starred in the 2021 drama "Doom at Your Service" with Park Bo Young, Lee Soo Hyuk, Kang Tae Oh, Shin Do Hyun, and SF9's Dawon.
Aside from dramas, he will also join the upcoming movie "The Wolf Hunting" with Jang Dong Yoon, Choi Gwi Hwa, Sung Dong Il, Jung So Min, and Jang Young Nam.
Meanwhile, this will be Oh Yeon Seo's first drama project for 2022. She last starred in the KakaoTV drama "Mad for Each Other" with Jung Woo, Ahn Woo Yeon, Lee Soo Hyun, Kim Nam Hee, and Baek Ji Won. Oh Yeon Seo will also star in a new movie titled "Apgujeong Report." She will be starring in the movie together with Ma Dong Seok, Jung Kyung Ho, Oh Na Ra, Choi Byung Mo, and Jeong Ji So.
