
Son Suk Ku's third upcoming K-drama will reportedly be with the D.P. director.
On February 17, media outlets reported that Son Suk Ku would lead the upcoming mystery K-drama titled Road.
The upcoming K-drama will be the next work of director Han Jun Hee who also created the works D.P., D.P. Season 2, Coin Locker Girl, Hit-and-Run Squad, Pilot, and more.
If Son Suk Ku confirms his casting, this will be his reunion with the D.P. director. The actor's side hasn't responded to the casting reports. This will possibly be their fourth time working together.
Road will showcase the journey of the Korean detective Kang Cheong Do and Japanese Inspector Inose. It will reveal the happenings of a bizarre murder case that happened in Korea and Japan. The story will be based on the comic named Blue Road by Keisi Edogawa and Kwon Ga Ya.
Son Suk Ku will possibly play the role of the Korean detective named Kang Cheong Do. There are no information yet on who will portray the role of Japanese Inspector Inose.
The broadcast channel and premiere date of the upcoming K-drama Road are still under discussion.
Before Son Suk Ku reunites with director Han Jun Hee, he will first greet viewers in the upcoming JTBC K-drama Heavenly Ever After with Kim Hye Ja, Han Ji Min, Lee Jung Eun, Cheon Ho Jin, and Ryu Deok Hwan.
He will also star in the Disney+ original K-drama Nine Puzzle with Kim Da Mi, Hyun Bong Sik, Kim Do Geon, Lee Joo Young, and Kim Sung Kyun.
Aside from K-dramas, Son Suk Ku will also star in the upcoming film Virus with Kim Yoon Seok, Bae Doo Na, Moon Sun Yong, Kwak Jin, and Kim Kyung Il.
