Lee Joong Ok joins Park Shin Hye and Kim Jae Young in a new crime romance K-drama
Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung, and Jeon Yeo Been will reportedly be the main leads for the upcoming film "Cobweb."
On December 30th, several media outlets stated that Song Kang Ho, Im Soo Jung, and Jeon Yeo Been will be working together on a new film. They will be the main lead for the upcoming movie titled "Cobweb" directed by Kim Jee Woon ("Dr.Brain"). Aside from the three, the production is still looking for another actor that will take on the leading role. They previously contacted a top actor but the casting fall through because of mismatched schedules.
"Cobweb" is a story about a movie inside another movie. The upcoming movie will be produced by Ansology Studio (founded by Song Kang Ho, Choi Jae Won, and Kim Jee Woon).
Song Kang Ho and Im Soo Jung will reportedly play the characters from outside the movie. Meanwhile, Jeon Yeo Been will play the character from the movie.
"Cobweb" will be the first-ever project of Ansology Studio. The production is currently finalizing the casting. The movie aims to begin filming in February 2022.
If Song Kang Ho decided to appear in this film, it will be his fourth upcoming movie. The top actor last starred in the 2019 movies "The King's Letters" and "Parasite." Song Kang Ho will be part of the new films "Emergency Declaration," "One Win," and "Broker."
Im Soo Jung is currently starring in the drama "Melancholia." She is also set to appear in the upcoming movie "Single in Seoul" with Lee Dong Wook, Esom, Lee Sang Yi, and more.
Meanwhile, if Jeon Yeo Been accepts the offer, this will be her first upcoming film. She is currently booked for two new dramas such as "Glitch" and "Someday or One Day."
