Song Won Seok will be the new addition to the cast of the upcoming drama "The Office Blind Date"

It was reported on October 21st that Song Won Seok will join Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Se Jeong in the upcoming SBS drama "The Office Blind Date."

Song Won Seok's agency Starhaus Entertainment confirmed the reports, by stating that the actor accepted the casting offer for the SBS drama. 

"The Office Blind Date" will be a collaboration among director  Park Seon Ho ( "Wok of Love" and "Suspicious Partner”) and writers Han Sul Hee and Hong Bo Hee.

The upcoming SBS drama will be based on the webtoon of the same name written by Hae Hwa, it will depict the love story between an employee named Shin Ha Ri and her CEO Kang Tae Mu. Shin Ha Ri attended a blind meeting on behalf of her friend and she ended up meeting his boss, Kang Tae Mu.  

Other cast of the drama include Seol In Ah, Kim Min Kyu, Bae Woo Hee, Im Ki Hong, VICTON's Choi Byung Chan, and more. 

Kim Se Jeong will portray the role of Shin Ha Ri, the regular employee who faked her friend's identity on a blind date. Ahn Hyo Seop will bring life to the role of Kang Tae Mu, the CEO of the company Shin Ha Ri works at. Song Won Seok was cast as Lee Min Woo, a masculine character that many women dream of.

"The Office Blind Date" will officially begin filming later this year. The drama will premiere in 2022 through SBS.

Song Won Seok is currently busy with two dramas. He is currently starring in the SBS dramas "One the Woman" and "Lovers of the Red Sky."

He will be working with Ahn Hyo Seop once again in "The Office Blind Date." Both are currently part of the drama  "Lovers of the Red Sky" with Kim Yoo Jung, Gong Myung, Kwak Shi Yang, and more.

The actor debuted in 2012 and has participated in several dramas such as "Joseon Survival," "Sweet and Salty Office," "Switch: Change the World," "My Father is Strange," "Arang and the Magistrate," and more.
