Park Bo Gum will reportedly lead a new historical war film
The Season 3 of Taxi Driver is confirmed to premiere this year.
On February 6, SBS officially confirmed the official returning cast of Taxi Driver Season 3. They also revealed that the K-drama will return in the second half of 2025.
Actors Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram are all returning as members of the Rainbow Taxi team.
Taxi Driver Season 3 will continue the goal of the mysterious taxi company Rainbow Taxi who gets revenge on behalf of the victims. The story is adapted from the webtoon of the same name by Carlos and Keukeu Jae Jin.
Writer Oh Sang Ho will continue to write the script for the third season. Aside from being the mastermind of the whole Taxi Driver series, he is also known for creating the films The Roundup: No Way Out and Fabricated City. Writer Oh Sang Ho will collaborate with director Kang Bo Seung who also worked in the K-drama Dr. Romantic Season 3.
The Taxi Driver Season 3 production team expressed their gratitude for viewers' support over the first two seasons, stating, "We are working hard to deliver an even better season. Lee Je Hoon, Pyo Ye Jin, Kim Eui Sung, Jang Hyuk Jin, and Bae Yoo Ram will showcase their strong teamwork, promising to bring back the fun and excitement that defines the series as a prime example of Korean caper dramas. We also ask for continued anticipation and interest in the third season, which is scheduled to air in the second half of the year."
Lee Je Hoon will return as Kim Do Gi, the ace driver of the Rainbow Taxi company.
Kim Eui Sung will continue to the be team leader of Rainbox Taxi named Jang Sung Cheol.
Pyo Ye Jin will be back as hacker Ahn Go Eun who usually helps the team behind the scenes.
Jang Hyuk Jin and Bae Yoo Ram will return as Choi Kyung Goo and Park Jin Uhn, the transportation engineers of the Rainbow Taxi.
