The upcoming Channel A drama The Witch unveiled stills, giving a glimpse of the actors making cameo appearances.
The Witch follows Dong Jin (Park Jin Young), who strives to break the curse of misfortune surrounding Mi Jung (Roh Jeong Eui), a woman labeled as a witch. Mi Jung is a woman who has cut herself off from the world due to the misfortunes that follow her wherever she goes.
Stills of actors, including Ju Ji Hoon, were released. Apart from him, Yoon Park and Hyun Bong Sik are also seen, sparking curiosity about the roles they will play.
Inside the police station, two men sit side by side, being questioned as if they've just had a dispute. Ju Ji Hoon, with his short hair and blue tracksuit, looking like an unemployed man, contrasts sharply with Yoon Park, dressed in a plain white shirt like an ordinary office employee.
Meanwhile, Hyun Bong Sik, a detective, is seen seemingly trying to mediate between them. Director Kim Tae Gyoon previously hinted that this scene showcases the exceptional skills of Dong Jin (Park Jin Young), a top-tier data miner with exceptional skills. With the three characters caught in this situation, curiosity grows about their performances and what role they will play.
The production team stated, "We have used all our precious network of connections, including Ju Ji Hoon, who previously collaborated with director Kim Tae Gyoon in the film Dark Figure of Crime.
They added, "Actors Ju Ji Hoon, Yoon Park, Hyun Bong Sik, and even Kim Hye Ok will make special appearances in the first episode and shine." They continued, "We are grateful to the actors who gladly agreed to make appearances despite the short screen time and pleasantly showcased their acting skills."
"Viewers can look forward to seeing familiar faces unexpectedly pop up in the drama. Spotting these surprise cameos will also be quite enjoyable."
