Woo Do Hwan is in discussion to lead the upcoming Netflix original series "Bloodhound."

According to several outlets on November 2nd, Woo Do Hwan was selected as the main lead for the upcoming Netflix original series "Bloodhound." It was first offered to Lee Do Hyun and Kwak Dong Yeon but the two declined the offer. 

Woo Do Hwan's agency KeyEast responded to the reports and revealed that the actor is positively considering the casting offer for the drama. 

 "Bloodhound" is based on the webtoon of the same name. It is a noir series that will reveal the story of three men who are involved in large debt and try to get out of it. The drama will be directed and written by Kim Joo Hwan also known as Jason Kim ("The Divine Fury" and "Midnight Runners".)

If Woo Do Hwan accepts the drama, this will be his reunion with director Kim Joo Hwan. They worked together in the movie "The Divine Fury" with Park Seo Joon, Ahn Sung Ki, and Choi Woo Shik.

 "Bloodhound" will exclusively premiere on Netflix. The original series will have eight episodes. Seed Film and Studio N will produce the drama.

Actor Woo Do Hwan is on the last few months of his military service. He will be discharged in January next year. 

He last starred in the 2020 drama "The King: Eternal Monarch" with Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun, Kim Kyung Nam, Jung Eun Chae, Lee Jung Jin, and Kim Yong Ji. Some of the cast members became good friends with Woo Do Hwan and even had a get-together before sending him off to the military. 

Woo Do Hwan was also part of the dramas "My Country: The New Age," "Tempted," "Mad Dog," "Save Me," "Sweet Stranger and Me," and more. 

If Woo Do Hwan accepts the drama " "Bloodhound," this will be his comeback project after his military enlistment.
