Yoon Chan Young is in discussion to lead the remake of the International series "Your Honor."

On February 16, media outlets reported that Yoon Chan Young has been cast as the main lead of the Korean version of Showtime's Your Honor.

Your Honor is based on the Israeli drama Kvodo. It was also successfully remade into a series in the countries United States, Germany, Spain, Italy, and more. Among the remakes, the American version that was released in 2020 is the most popular one in Korea. 

The story will revolve around the son of a respected judge who murdered the son of a criminal organization boss through a hit-and-run. 

Your Honor will be produced by director Pyo Min Soo who also helmed the k-dramasThe Third Charm, The Producers, IRIS 2, The World That They Live In, and more.

The upcoming Korean remake will reportedly begin filming in the first half of 2023. There are no official details yet on where it will be broadcasted and when it will officially air.

If Yoon Chan Young confirms his casting, this will be his next project after the upcoming K-drama Delivery Man with Girls Day's Bang Min Ah, Kim Min Seok, Winner's Kim Jin Woo, Choi Tae Hwan, and Kim Seung Soo

Yoon Chan Young debuted at an early age. The actor has starred in several k-dramas such as When a Man's in Love, Monstar, Gap Dong, Six Flying Dragons, Dr. Romantic, The Bride of Habaek, The King in Love, Thirty But Seventeen, Nobody Knows, and more. 

Last year, the actor gained more attention after starring in the Netflix global hit K-drama All of Us Are Dead and the two seasons of the seezn series Hope or Dope
