Based on the Episode 7 and 8 synopsis, things are about to get crazy. Da On finally takes a stand, but the kidnapping changes everything. I’m betting Jae Min is behind it, directly or indirectly. Seong Hyeon saving Da On and getting injured feels like the perfect setup for their confession, but I doubt it’ll be a smooth happy ending—especially with Su Hyeon and Jae Min still in the picture.

For the finale, I hope we get real consequences. Jae Min needs to be exposed, and Su Hyeon’s obsession should either escalate or break him. Da On and Seong Hyeon deserve some peace, but knowing this show, their future might still be uncertain.

I would want a Season 2, of course, but I think a one-season story could be enough. I saw the screenwriter tends to make a second season tho, so I'm a little bit hopeful! But they can wrap up the story in a nice but realistic way, especially if the two finally confess their feelings to each other. That said, if a second season happens, I’d love a deeper dive into Jae Min’s psyche, Su Hyeon’s redemption (or downfall), and how Da On and Seong Hyeon handle their trauma and relationship.

What are your final episodes predictions? Do you think we’ll get closure or another cliffhanger? Also would you want a season 2?

As much as I want JaeMin and Suhyeon's actions to have consequences, I'm gonna bet they're not gonna get any real punishments. Su Hyeon losing Daon will probably be his biggest regret. As for JaeMin, Im assuming he has as much influence as Suhyeon, so even if he gets any legal punishments, he'll most probably be able to get away with it.  We know how SK is with these kinda things👀.

Honestly, I would love a S2. It's not often that we get such a well-done toxic/messy KBL!!

If we were to get S2, I would love to see more of Su Hyeon and Daon's history together. I don't really like Su Hyeon, but we have to admit that both of those actors have stunning chemistry. It would be nice to see the entire process of them meeting to them developing interest and feelings for each other before the inevitable breakup/separation. It would also be nice to see more about their personal lives and thoughts during that period.

Another option would be to see how Seonghyun and Daon build their relationship. Them getting to know each other more, Daon healing from his past traumas with the 2 🚩, their couple arguments, sweet moments, and all that fun stuff.

You make a really good point. As much as I want Jaemin and Suhyeon to face real consequences, I agree. It’s unlikely they’ll get any real punishment. Suhyeon losing Daon might be the biggest blow for him, and Jaemin probably has enough power to escape anything serious. Kdramas love letting the rich and powerful get away with things, so I wouldn’t be shocked if that’s the route they take.

I’d love a Season 2 too, especially since messy KBLs like this are so rare! Exploring Suhyeon and Daon’s past would be super interesting. I don’t like Suhyeon much either, but their chemistry is insane. Seeing how their relationship started and how it all fell apart would add so much depth.

And if we go the Seonghyeon x Daon route, I’d love to see them actually build  a relationship, not just end on a rushed confession. Daon healing, them figuring each other out, sweet moments, but also realistic conflicts. It would make the story feel more complete.

Either way, I just hope the finale gives us something solid, whether it’s closure or setup for more!

Alright, so for the final episode, I really hope we get a happy ending after all the chaos. Da On has been stuck in this toxic mess for way too long, and it’s time for him to finally take control of his own life. Ohhh, if Jae Min actually kidnapped Da On at the end of the last episode, then yeah, the final episode is about to go INSANE. He’s been gaslighting and manipulating Da On the whole time, but now that Da On is finally starting to break free, he’s resorting to extreme measures—aka, kidnapping him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to convince Da On that he’s doing this "for his own good" or that “no one else understands him” (classic psycho behavior). But this? This is Da On’s breaking point. He’s finally going to see just how toxic Jae Min is and realize that he can’t keep running away from this mess.

Su Hyeon, on the other hand… I honestly don’t see a redemption arc for him. He’s too far gone. I feel like his biggest punishment will be losing Da On for good, and maybe even facing some serious consequences for his actions. But I don’t think he’s getting a dramatic downfall—just a slow, painful realization that his obsession destroyed any chance he had.

I can see Su Hyeon and Seong Hyeon finding out about the kidnapping and making things even worse by confronting Jae Min in an unhinged way. Maybe we even get a huge fight between them where one of them doesn’t make it out (👀 major death flag).

Now, the best part? Seong Hyeon and Da On finally admitting their feelings for each other. Seong Hyeon has been patient, caring, and honestly the only stable presence in Da On’s life. I think after everything, Da On will realize that he deserves a love that isn’t suffocating or controlling. We’ll get that emotional confession scene—nothing too dramatic, just something real and heartfelt, where Da On finally chooses Seonghyeon.

For the ending, I need a happy but realistic resolution. Da On deserves peace. I hope we get a time skip of him and Seonghyeon starting fresh, healing together, and just being happy. No cliffhangers, no tragic endings—just closure. And if they hint at a Season 2? It better be about them growing as a couple and not more trauma.

The finale what a rollercoaster....

Da On finally breaking free was so satisfying to watch. That kidnapping scene was intense, but Seong Hyeon coming to the rescue (and getting hurt for it) really sealed the deal for their relationship. Jae Min’s downfall was chef’s kiss—no redemption, just well-deserved consequences. And Su Hyeon? He didn’t get a dramatic punishment, but watching him lose everything was enough.

The best part? Da On choosing Seong Hyeon. That confession scene was simple but perfect. After everything, he finally found love that wasn’t suffocating. And that ending—seeing him at peace—was all I needed.
