Help me please! looking for specific drama/movie!

Hello everyone! I really need your help with this one. 

I've just been to China on holiday. On August 3rd I switched on the TV and I found a movie/drama on cctv6. Obviously I didn't understand a thing, but it looked interesting, so I took some pictures. I think the girl was the daughter of some important guy, and she had a love/hate relationship with a strange, middle aged man (the one beside her in one of the pics). And then there was another guy, a general maybe, who was a friend of the strange guy, and I think he was in love with the girl (the one with the beads in his hair).

I haven't been able to find out what it is. Can you help me, please? Even if you just recognise an actor or something. Thanks so much!
