Back to the Past Watch Challenge 2024

Welcome to the Back to the Past Watch Challenge 2024! 

Thank you to SKYLINE for letting me continue the challenge this year. 

Original idea of this challenge belongs to Rien.

Nothing fancy this year; we're going back to the origins of the Back to the Past Challenge. This challenge is to encourage you to explore older dramas and movies.

Goal : To watch 1 drama or movie aired/released in 2024, and from the years before (going back) until you’ve had enough. It can be a (short) movie or any type of drama. How far back would you go?

For example, if your goal is to go back and watch dramas/movies that were released from 2013 till 2024, then you need to watch 12 titles.

Rules :

1. Watch 1 title (movie or drama) that aired (was released and completed) in 2024. And then, keep going back a year (so it goes like 2024 ➤ 2023 ➤ 2022 ➤ 2021 ➤ etc.) until you want to stop.
2. Put the titles in chronological order from most recent (2024) to older. 
3. You don’t have to watch it in chronological order.
4. Don’t skip a year! Or else it beats the purpose of the challenge.
5. Only count titles you have watched in the year 2024 (from January 1 till December 31). 
6. Feel free to re-watch titles to use for the challenge. 
7. It's pretty straightforward but if you have any questions, PM me!

For added difficulty (optional) :

• Pick only one type: movies or dramas.
• Watch only titles from one specific country. 
• Watch at least one title from each of the 7 countries of MDL.
• Watch only titles with a specific genre.
• Watch only titles from a specific actor, actress, director, or writer.
• Watch only titles you haven’t watched before.
• Instead of just 1 title per year, you can make it 2 (1 drama and 1 movie).
