Currently watching ep 6 of BGMB near the end of the ep ... what a hot mess lol

I just finished Blue Canvas of Youthful Days.

 I really liked it overall, especially the chemistry and attentiveness btw the MLs.  

I didn't like how the abusive parent scenes made my stomach ache too. And the lame trope of both ML lying to the other one for "their own good" toward the end. Nooooooo!! Don't do that!!

I'm disappointed  with the incomplete and rushed mess of an ending.  Since there was no closure or resolution with the abusive father (in my mind) I didn't feel relief that Qi Lu would be safe and have a good future with Qin Xiao, if that makes sense.

And then to read ending captions explaining the ending...ngl, didn't like that at all, which I almost missed to begin with.

I'm going to have to watch smth more upbeat to replace the anxiety before I can sleep.  :-(

Last thing: Yay for a Chinese BL in 2024 though!

This episode was good except for homegirl fiancée who is the typical "why can't you love me!!!" girl. Girl bye.

Anyway, that last scene was GOOD GOOD. Ugh I love these two, they're so pretty together--

Update : I'm on EP4 of Boys Be Brave and I'm really enjoying it! I'll review it once I finish ^^

The storyline also sounds good ;;

But like I'm also super excited for Me & Who, trailer/plot looks interesting and I love BigPark.

Then we have Top Form which is a live adaption to Dakaichi. I've watched the anime and I like the plot, but I'm a little concerned... I hope they tone down the non-consent of the OG work or get rid of it.

Anyway, speaking solely on the trailer, these two look super good together-- I'm glad we won't have to wait long to watch it.
