So I got into the eastern drama market over a year ago, by watching a few J Dramas on netflix, oevrall I enjoyed them but in my region it is easier to access K-drama's so transitioned over to these as more widley available. I do wish that  the japanese networks realised that they could easily hit untapped network in the foriegn market due to the popularity of K-dramas and utilise Viki, Netflx and Prime more including movies. I do appreciate that they do exist on these platfroms but compared to K content Jcontent apart from animes is not as widely available compared to the am,ount of shows being put out by Japan, you will find that 99% of kcontent is available when releases in Korea where Jcontent is probaly 25%-30%. Even utilising a wholly Jcontent platform similar to Kocowa which is just Kcontent.

I like the way that compared to kdrams there does not seem to be a formula that all writers/produsers end up following and do wish that some drams ran a bit longer by time or episode count  as it does seem alot of them follow the same time flow and episode count oo anime's.

The kdrams I wish would stop following the same formulas and mix things up. 95% main couple end up get together by episode 9-10 regardless of show length 75% main  couple end up splitting up/ seperated in 2nd to last episode with getting back together in last 20 minutes of final episode. Where as Jdrama's the main couple can get together pretty early on even within first few episode can stay totheger or split up and back together at any point as well.

I appreciate there is C-Dramas and other countries available but I have not really started watching these yet.
