Good atmospheric horror movies that don't rely on jumpscares

Well im not so big horror to begin with.  You can also seek david lynch's and also lot of horror from 70s-80s pretty strong on that category - created eerie, unpleasant atmosphere - thing like friedkin's, john Carpenter's,  scott's Alien, etc

I would recommend 'The Wailing' multiple story threads.  Atmospheric with the rain too.  I love the sound of rain, the pattering on the windows.  Then again, I like to listen to ambience music too.  The film is a long movie but it sets the scene well, not for everyone, but give it a shot.  I was pleasantly surprised.
