TURKISH SHOW CUKUR THE PIT

Oh wow, I never expected to see somebody asking about Cukur in MDL. I don't know if you are watching now or not but the show is almost at the end of season 2. It is a very good one,  a mafia story.  Actually it is modelled upon the Godfather series. I haven't seen Ask Laftan because I heard that the heroine hides her identity and all. But the only similarity it has with SBA is that hero's family is mafia. But more involved than Firhat Aslan's in SBA. They are not drug lords or anything.  The slum they live is called Cukur, literally the pit, Kocovalis are the owners/head/royalty of Cukur. But when outside forces attack and try to take down Cukur, Yamac Kocovali, the youngest son of the family has to come back to defend them. The tragedy is that he left the family and that kind of life 10 years ago and he just got married to his love.  He has to come back into Cukur again while struggling to choose between his yearning for a normal life and Cukur. There is no forced marriage or kidnapping like in SBA, here the leads Yamac and Sena just reallllly really love each other. Family, neighbourhood, relationships, love and betrayal are all the themes. As you must already know a single ep is more than 2 hrs and it is already in its 2nd season not only that the third season is already confirmed. So it drags a little in between. But in the first season we invest so much in these characters that we have to see them to the end. In my opinion, the first season is kinda better written than the second but its all good. Heroine and hero have good chemistry of course and I realllly like Yasen. All the actors are talented too. I hope you will give it a try. I am so excited to see a cukur fan.  #Cukurevimizyamacbabamiz

In almost three months. If they bring a new love interest for Yamac I won't  be watching .

Same. I said if they bring 'a' love interest. Now they introduced two love interests.
