That's awesome news!  And everything will be free-to-watch with ads?  Wow... :D

Thanks so much for giving us a heads-up about this!

I wonder if it'll be available on Roku?  *fingers crossed*

It's been a while and it said early 2019 so I did some googling and came across a PR release from one of their executives:

So now we're looking at mid 2019.

Thank you so much for updating us on what's going on with the new streaming site. I tried looking into it a few days ago, but I got nothing. I'm super excited, and I really hope their database will contain a lot more dramas  for us to view. Bumped out that I have to wait a bit longer to access it.

Thanks for keeping us posted! This is very exciting.

Some more news:

https://variety.com/2019/film/news/cinedigm-bambu-future-today-launch-1203187871/

Launch date in June. 30 films already licensed from Youko, 40 more from China Lion, 500 hours of content to watch. A mention of the popular drama Nirvana in Fire being licensed and some big name movies.

They also have a deal with CMC Pictures for more movies:

It will be interesting to see their set up. 500 announced hours of content so far isn't a massive library but perhaps this is just what has been publicly announced.

Also will Bambu get licenses for dramas and movies as they air or are released?  Still a lot of questions but we will see in the next few months and at release.

Thank you so much for continuing to keep us up to date with the new streaming site. From reading both of the links you provided it seems that  Bambu hasn’t gotten a deal with iQiyi yet, which provides a lot of dramas that I and some users on here watch. The good thing about this site is that they will be doing feedback and collecting data to see which dramas, tv shows are working and which ones aren’t. I can’t wait for June.

So it's June and I can't find anything since those April news posts.

I wasn't expecting a launch in the first week  of June but I thought there would be a release, a website name, something.

Still only at the beginning of week 1 of 4 so I'm not panicking yet.

June 29th, the weekend. I can't it anywhere and no announcement.

So we have been given a new date according to the web crawlers and my search:

Launch of Bambu Channel – Bambu, Cinedigm’s free Chinese film and television network aimed at western audiences will launch in a preview release on October 22, 2019.

We shall see if they make this launch date. I am also not sure what 'preview release' means.

I'll be out of country on business so when I get back later that same week I'll be hopeful and looking.

Still not home but I downloaded their CONtv app and it seems like the preview is Bambu as a TV channel. Hopefully we can watch TV shows on demand when they launch the whole thing and not just the preview.
