Your favorite expressions/words in Japanese?

- 違う！　まさか！　そんなはずない！　(Chigau! Masaka! Sonna hazu nai!) Yuuki said it on Ikemen Desu Ne a couple of times, I don't know why but just really like that phrase.
- ボンクラ　(bonkura) Doumyouji called his sister's husband this on Hana Yori Dango, I don't know why, but I just find this word to sound very funny for some reason. It means blockhead or dimwit.
- いいから (ii kara) I really like it when guys say this in an annoyed voice... strangely :S
- ちょっとまった (chotto matta) Chotto matte but with a twist! lol
- おい (Oi) You know when you call out to someone, like "Hey!" I like this one because in Swedish "Oi" or "Oj" is the word for "Oops", so every time I drop something or whatever and I say "Oj!" I imagine if I said that when in Japan, loud enough, someone would turn around and be like "eh?" haha
- やばい (Yabai) I love saying this, just sounds so funny, especially when you say it like "yaaahbeeeh!" (:
- 秋山 (Akiyama) It's a name though, it means fall (autumn) mountain, and when I say or hear it I just think of this beautiful mountain or hill full of red/yellow/orange trees in the autumn, I know I'm weird, but yeah.

I second the 「いいから」! The annoyed voice is what makes it ^^

All learned from grandma: Yakamashii! (Noisy/troublesome) I usually use this to say "Shut up!" Yabai! (Very bad) This is like saying "Oh crap!" like when you're in trouble. Tabemashou! (Let's eat!) Because I love to eat. :p Iko. (Let's go.) It usually meant a trip to the beach. Ee. (Yes.) Used as both affirmation and question, it's probably the most used expression in my house.

Right now, I think my favourite expression is yoroshiku onegaishimasu. I first learned it as some kind of introductory greeting (you say it the first time you meet a person) but the more dramas I've watched, the more I've come to realise that they use it in so many different situations and the translation vary depending on context. Lately I've felt that there are times when such an expression would come in handy in my language, as well. I also like tadaima and itadakimasu. And sou ka. Other than that, I often pick up new favourite words from the drama I'm currently watching. :) I learned wakatteru yo from Bloody Monday (I didn't get very far in my Japanese studies so I had to google it, "what kind of verb ending is that? not one of the three I know...") and yoshi from Antique, and so on. I miss studying Japanese and properly learning things, though!
