Sharing my obsession

I'm a bit new, too *and* I am a big BL fan as well (you can see my lists). Currently watching Bad Romance, Pornographer and Love By Chance.  I love Korn!!!! What grades do you teach?Many people don't get this whole Asian drama thing anyway so it would be hard pressed to find others who love BL as well. Gush all you want, there are many kindred spirits here. :-)

Not to mention gorgeous (Korn). Yes very dedicated and on the quiet and patient side.    Knock is beautiful as well, but Korn has something special that's hard to resist. My very first BL drama was 2 Moons and I fell hard for Pha (Gxxod).  I see you have that on your PTW list. The acting is a bit stiff, but that story line and characters interactions made up for that.  I also love watching the specials and actor interviews where they talk about their roles and what it was like to participate in a drama of this genre. 

So, you teach high school. bet some of your students hang out here as well...lol. 

As you can see, I'm a huge Gong Yoo fan..more than a fan, I'm obsessed...that's why I like to watch the interviews and fan meets. I try and learn as much as I can about the actors. Gong Yoo sings and plays piano as well so, of course, I *had* to watch his performances on Youtube.

 Coffee Prince *really* good!  He and Yoon Eun-hye were excellent in the respective roles. I cried, laughed and was so touched by the whole drama, nothing bad to say about it. All the other characters were great as well. 

Starting a drama is always hard for me because I like immediate action. I don't mind build up but if it's too slow I lose interest.  If it doesn't capture my attention right away...it's a goner.

Love By Chance--I'm enjoying it because I recognize actors from other BL dramas I watched and the subject matter. It's currently airing and ep 5 is due out shortly.

Haha yeah I'm a big fan of BL dramas but I'll watch anything that's good. It's nice if there's at least a BL side story though.

I love it when they have a girl who's rooting for they guys. Like in Together With Me there's a woman Yihwa and she's just awesome. She's amazing best friend material. 

I have 2 more episodes of this series left and I don't want to finish them lol. At least I know there's another season coming soon :)

I *JUST* completed Antique Bakery this morning...great recommendation, I loved it!  Very light and fluffy with episodic dark moments...a real mix. I also completed Dark Blue and Moonlight recently and ended up following Tim Huang (plays PingJun) on Insta because I was so impressed with him. And of course,  Addicted Heroin, one of my first. All three are, I think, are for a more mature audience meaning there wasn't any antics or pranks, and the acting was very serious. I also think the actors are a bit older than the ones in a lot of the Thai dramas.
