I don't even try to ask myself if it's realistic and slightly believable : the actors believe they are from Joseon, and this is SO much fun to watch.
Did I mention the fact that Lee Min ho is awesomly cute and irresitible and I love him AND this drama.
Hope it stay that good.
my guess : everything is related to that particular riddle we...didn't get the answer "What's alive when everything dies, and dead when everything is alive"...something like that.

So true! That's what made it real for them lol!
LMH93 really is such an eye-candy. And the fact that he has > photographic memory makes his character so much more interesting! lmao when he scooped that water out of the toilet bowl and realized what he did later! XD <
What's your answer to that riddle? ^-^
That water scene was hilarious! ->He's like "Wow....wait....I grabbed....water....from....there...in my mouth!!!!<- LOL
You know what I also found ironic.-> When he was young (Crown Prince), he wanted a pretty bride, yet he was enjoying sister in law's company a bit too much. What's even more ironic is that if that wicked witch which she calls "unnie" hadn't ruined her face, she would have been his wife. And he would have had the whole package, smart and pretty...<-

I can't get enough of that episode. I've already watched it twice and I'm still waiting for the subs to watch it again. It was so so good!
You know I wanted to gag but I was laughing so hard at that water incident! Yeah that unnie made that >hem trip seem like it's accidental but did you see her expression as she was falling down she was really aiming for her dongsaeng's face. omg I wanted to grab her! But the Prince did seem to love her (Hwa Yong the evil unnie)... because if he didn't we wouldn't have a working plot haha. But of course I agree with you, if the dongsaeng was married to the Prince, they would have complemented each other. <
I am surprised at how Yoochun has improved or shown in acting so far. By golly, I like his character more as Lee Gak than his bore-me-to-sleep role in SKKS! He has this you-can't-make-me-because-I'm-the-spoiled-Crown-Prince syndrome and it makes him look so ridiculous when he gets indignant! Bahahahahahaa!

Of course, that "trip" wasn't accidental. She kept playing around with the "iron" and when she fell she made sure it was aimed at her dongsaeng's face. That girl makes such a good evil face...lol, it's just like it wasn't an accident at all that her modern version was also evil and let that little kid on the back of that truck....why on earth was she even there...? And did you notice that Park (Bak) Ha was also burned on her face when she was making noodles?<-

I did. Plastic surgery? lol > She couldn't remember a thing from the past because of a car accident. Oh crap I was thinking the poor thing tried to get down from the truck while it was moving.< Just imagining it is horrible!!

LOL, plastic surgery...
I imagined that too, ->which I actually thought she would do before the unnie walked away. But she didn't since unnie was too glad for words she didn't remember what happened that day. Do you think Park Ha would lie about that? Or is she too goody two shoes like almost every other K-drama female lead?<-
By the way, did they mention how she got to America and I totally missed it, or they didn't mention it? Do you think it will be? maybe when she recovers her memory, right?<-

She might not be > lying about it, I was thinking that head scar was the equivalent to Boo Yong's facial scar in Joseon.<
No, they didn't explain how she got there. When I watched Ep 1 with the subs, I was curious about > how their evidence was insinuating that Boo Yong was somehow involved in the case because that night dried persimmons were served (poisoned with cyanide, how deliciously evil) and she was the only visitor they had that night when she solved
Also, > I think it would be cool if she didn't remember. Because remembering would be all too painful. < :(

Oh here is where I quote Juniko: I don't even try to ask myself if it's realistic and slightly believable : the actors believe they are from Joseon, and this is SO much fun to watch.
I liked the second episode better than the first. The displaced Joseon boys freaking out in the futuristic world; all of those situations were comedic and entertaining. Especially the....Scene in her apartment when they are left alone and freak out over every little thing, trashing the place and setting it on fire. I also liked the moment where she is explaining the toilet and the one flashes back to when he was scooping his hands in the water. I also liked the little touch of the one Joseon boy (I don't know all their names and colors yet) remembering the license plate and finding her again. That was a fun touch. But I am also hesitant about where they are going with The modern day scenario of the family thinking the Prince is their dead/lost son.
Will we ever go back to Joseon times and finished that unfinished mystery? Or will there be a typical makjang turn around of evil schemers trying to prevent the truth to come out in the current day's time? I'm still on board for the time being.

Actually, I'm watching this because the story is really interesting and so so funny. Min Ho was just a bonus.
I'd like to see the other dramas too, like K2H, which I'd really like to watch HJW in. You're probably watching another drama too for a reason anyway, so yeah to each their own.

It does seem makjang. I mentioned yesterday how the modern times seemed too makjang and not in a good way. I also want to know more about the Joseon mystery, even if the guys being out of their element was funny to see. But it they keep at it, it will get old...fast. ->That guy with the toilet water is Lee Minho 1993:)
