Ma Ru isn't helping either, his character began to make me feel annoyed too; so you want to make her strong then die?! You want to let her have Tae San then leave yourself to death? If that's the ending then everyone witness this: I will stop watching Asian Dramas for three months!! (A big sacrifice, I know). All I want to know is: how the hell is this going to end!!

Phew! I need to get my feelings straight in order to watch the remaining episodes.

Even leaving aside the plot for a moment, ethically speaking if Eun Ki wants revenge from Ma Ru and acts on this, how is she any better than Jae Hee?
From a narrative point of view, a character should grow through his/her experiences. But up to now all Eun Ki has done is going from one extreme to the next and than back to square one. Never, not even once, has she reflected upon her own mistakes, and admitted part of the blame. Are we supposed to excuse her only because she suffered brain injuries which she has procured herself with the accident?

MaRu is clearly dedicated to martyrdom right now and won't tell her anything. On the contrary, I already see him accepting whatever comes his way, which makes me double mad since he has nothing more to atone when it comes to Eun Ki! Certainly not her stupid devotion for a death father who was a bastard while alive and with whom she never had such a rosy relashionship to begin with.

The reverse revenge doesn't work on a narrative level, because it makes the plot stagnate and doesn't on a moral one because I refuse to condone someone who is called honest by everyone, while in fact she isn't even capable of honesty towards herself.

Yes, I am having the same feeling about the ending; it would be a surprise if Ma Ru doesn't die that's why I am preparing myself for any type of scenario.

By the way: if Eun Gi truly seeks revenge and MaRu dies in the end (as I believe he will), she will have to deal with the biggest remorse of her life. Unless, of course, she loses her memory for the 15th time and retires on Jeju to grow flowers, with Lawyer Park plucking off petals of daisies to decide whether he's really gay or not. :p

I don't dislike Eun Gi,but for me she is a badly written character, or a character too complex for me to get. She hates everyone but suddenly falls madly in love with Ma Ru (which I never saw happening, it was insta-love). She's toughest girl around but she still needs Ma Ru to save her. She finds out the truth about Ma Ru very early on but doesn't give a crap until he tells her the truth. She obsesses with Ma Ru and then tries to kill him when she confirms that he doesn't feel the same way about her. She hates her dad but then suddenly loves him. She begged Ma Ru to stay with her when lost his memory even if he treated her like crap but decides to get revenge when she gets her memory back, even if she knows he loves her now. Like I said, I really don't understand her! I don't think even the writer knows what to do with her.
As for Ma Ru............. he's a typical Edward Cullen. The only reason why I stand watching him is because Joong Ki is a really good actor (and good to the eyes too) and makes him slightly less pathetic.
