I don't but there are people who watch it raw. The reason I want Monday so badly is because I feel releaved when I see it up on DC which means I can watch it in one day. Crazy thought but that's basically why I wait for Monday :D

Plus you have the "haters" (yes even back then) who try to use his powers against him, or just the general haters who treat him like a complete monster. It's a hard life... Being different always is, this is a minority on a whole other scale!

I see your point and I agree but still, he gets to live a long life, he will be able to forget :D

The thing is, supernatural dramas always tend to make their heroes into humanity freaks, he always wants to become humain, it's like they always have inferiority complexes while they're much better than humain.
My point is: Shouldn't there be one drama that makes the supernatural creature accept who he is and adjust without trying to be human?

Silly people! I only start panicking on Wednesday night "WHY AREN'T THE SUBTITLES FOR THE SECOND EPISODE OF THE WEEK OUT YET!?"
one more day....can we make it?
I only started to watch Gu family Book, because from recaps I found Gon Yi's acting ridiculous when he's jealous. But I fell into this. It is awesome. :) First I started with episode 3, because from MV's I thought the parent's love story is too simple, but later I watched these episodes to understand the connections with later happenings. ( And I continue to think, it is not the best part of the drama. ) I know it's early, but it is the best drama for this year to me :) It has many ties, beautiful sight, exciting plot, funny moments, romance, bad guys... I just can't keep waiting for next episodes (so in that time I read regularly this discussion to know what you guess :D ) Btw, am I the only one who thinks that Jo Gwan Woong's deputy guard is hot? XD I'm serious. Gu Wol Ryung is not bad of course but I prefer the guard. Do you know who is he? I mean the actor

I think it's time for some romantic development in this drama. Romance has been sleeping ever since the parents episodes.
Not sleeping, building... I just saw episode 15, and......and..... I can't find the words. I loved it too much, I' m going to rewatch it and wait for the subs..... I just need to say something ... am I dreaming or is his father acting evil to teach kang chi how to master his own powers ? Or does he really want to kill him? I was disappointed by Suzy's acting in this episode. She is going through some pretty serious stuff, it's about time she start acting and reacting accordingly (sorry but that "I'm so shocked and sad I collapse on the floor" scene was just plain fake to me, I didn't believe it for a split second) . I don't want her to become melodramatic, but some depth would be nice...please. And again :hotness alert, this is the sexiest gumiho of all time. I love Kang Chi but I'm seriously considering grabing his father and jhivjhrdfijrdbfijrefvrihfgrdijfbrfjhvdsjchfdvfjhdvcjdhfesjhfv......if you know what I mean. Can't wait for tomorrow to come!
I didn't mind Suzy's acting in this episode. I just saw episode 15, and I liked it a lot.
I've actually been pretty impressed with Suzy in this.
Oh, I want to watch episode 15 right now.. but, well, I need the subs. D: ...Soon. ψ(`∇´)ψ

as for her collapse in a heap thing, i see it all the time in drama and whether it's a fairly new actress like suzy or a seasoned vetran like eun hye i find it to be a ridiculous and annoying plot device, almost always disapointing and just something they do when the writers can't or won't try to come up with something better.

To be fair, the scenario that she's put in can be considered overwhelming and to put words in could possibly ruin the scene. I'm not a fan of it, but at times it can be considered "necessary".
you dont have to put words in, but a person can be overwhelmed with out losing control of their leg muscles. drama land seems to think women are so delicate (even warriors) that any truely upsetting news will, literally, bowl them over. it's tiring.
In this episode there were 2 examples of "collapsing scenes". I think the first one, in the woods, was justified and understandable and I actually liked her acting at that time, but the one in her father's office was completely riddiculous. She is improving as an actress, but it all still seem a bit fake to me. In the woods, the silent tear on kang chi 's cheek seemed more sincere than her loud sobs. But I won't go as far as saying she is a bad actress, she can have her moments. I just wish that her acting could be deeper and more intense when necessary.
