Initially I was so happy that Netflix offered more and more Kdramas but with time I started to notice Netflix changes a lot of things in dramas. They change music, censor images/books/TV that is seen in the drama and sometimes even cut scenes.

For me, this was especially noticeable in dramas like the Reply series/ Prison Playbook where the OST is really important for storytelling. So I often stay away from Netflix and watch dramas on other websites :/

Have you noticed this? Does it bother you or do you watch on Netflix anyway?

Doesn't this have to do with copyright?

I notice they often censor paintings, commercial logos, or when the tv is on etc. because they don't have the rights to use it I imagine.

Maybe the law  in S-Korea is different than in the USA about this, that in USA there is a level of fair-use that is allowed but not in S-Korea. I've never seen something blurred out in american TV content, and that's not because they paid for the right, it's just fair-use to use a car in a char chase no matter what the brand it is, as long as you're not doing some intentional "harm" towards the brand.

@What ArniA said (re: copyright). I think if it bothers you, you can watch it somewhere else and then just click the show on Netflix (so that its algorithm or whatever it is called) can record that the show is indeed being played, to at least support it legally :)
