I mean I actually get that the writers are trying to make her seem more like a troubled teen - she has insecurities and problems and all that.. But it really doesn't excuse her lofty attitude, she acts like everyone owes her.. plus she's a total ***** towards Hye Sung - I wish they had made her less mean..

I am finding JYP to be more ridiculous in this season, he was awesome in the first season, but now when he comes on the screen I have to laugh because he is just ridiculous.. The end of ep 10, had my mad, and happy at the same time, they showed what friendship really is, but on the same hand they totally stomped the B class...
Did you see JYP at the very end of episode 10? ->He was dancing the B song and I couldn't decide whether to laugh or cringe. And I agree...
It's great they found, suddenly, their bond and friendship, but that looked like a press conference...And they are already popular idols. Of course it's going to get more views. But what annoyed me the most was the B naive little children dancing and enjoying it. I felt like dragging them back to their dorm and yelling at them...lol<-

Yes I did, and your right..>I thought it was funny, because of how he has been written into this season is just awful... And I agree with the rest, why make it look like a press conference? That was totally stompin' the B class in the mudd. And the B class looked like total dorks there.. esp YJ.. I had to cringe when I seen them..

I thought it was clear that >JB developed feelings for Starfish well in to Ep 7 and had openly said that in Ep 8 to Lian and reiterated that in Ep 9 to Yoo Jin in the hallway and in Ep 10 when JB barged into their dorm room to show what he did with the cube. The only thing that's keeping that Lian-JB love angle alive is that teeny tiny detail at the end of Ep 10 where they continued to hold hands after realizing that they unconsciously did so when they performed in front of the dorm.<
Lian is the perfect example >of inconsistency and the total lack of clarity. She wanted to become an actress--the 'Queen of Cannes' but it has been 10 episodes and all I see her doing is going with what the Director is wanting to do with her/them (idols), denying her feelings for JB and yet clinging on to him, and dipping her fingers into everyone else's business! Seriously, she could have dropped everything else and focused on how she could improve her lousy acting. Try to ask yourself where her character going to and I'm sure you won't have a clear answer either. They could've made her character a staunch competition for Hye Sung, not this sorry, empty, good-for-nothing character made just to irk us.<
Oh gosh that rant was waay too long. :p And yeah, Jin Man >is more ridiculous. He must've forgotten where he'd put his pride after producing Kirin stars from Season 1. From Jin Man to Yes Man--> NOT adorable. <
Tinselfannel wrote: I love the B song, it seems to be stuck in my mind on replay.. DO you guys feel Hye Sung became so much more serious compared to her earlier episodes?
Yeah! Isn't it great to have a mature Starfish at the core of the cast?

When I see JYP dance, I have flashbacks of the first season where he, WooYoung and Taec-yeon danced 'Too Legit 2 Quit'. Poor kids have to dance to that 90s beat! QUE HORROR! o_O

Okay, this is prolly going to be all in white so here goes >Yes, JB did express feelings for Hye Sung, but when confronted with that by Lian, he says, he doesn't know if that's liking or not, or something along those lines. So essentially he isn't 100% about his feelings. I mean, it can be seen your way, and seen my way. The church scene could have been so much more, but alas we were denied, and I think that denial put things back a little. Hye Sung is annoying to me, in the last couple eps she has grown on me a little, but not enough for me to say I like her. Something major needs to happen either JB totally one 100% no if's, and's, or but's about it confess to Hye Sung, or goes back to Lian.. Or YJ does the same to Hye Sung.. either or needs to happen soon, or I am going to get tired of the romance element to this show.
As for Lian, I can't disagree with anything you said, however, I can say I do feel sorry for her in some instances. And I still wanna slap the girl, and her overbearing gold diggin mama.
I feel that with the end of ep 10 to much stuff was left open and unclear, but the one thing that was clear was they totally stomped the B class. As for, JYP, I like how you worded that.< Wow that was a long reply, please don't get to upset with me..
Oh and on a side note, who is the yummy guy in your avi?

Ya know, while making that comment this morning, I tried to rewatch episodes 7-10 and tried to re-digest the scenes again (with decent subs). And pretty much, my opinion of Lian stayed the same way (but hey that's just me). >Don't get me wrong though. I pretty much ship Starfish-JYJ and Blondito-Lian pairing, however if they don't smoothen things out, it'll be an added point to the things we hate in this season. That being said, I don't see YJ going for any of the girls (?!) and is busy being a rebel against the Director and resisting being a super idol. If anything has improved, it's his skinship with JB lol.
The ending in Ep 10--they did stomp B class, although intentionally, we couldn't say. Looking on the bright side, at least they learned something about loyalty and friendship (and all that cheese!) ^-^ <
That blonde guy over there is Kim Junsu from JYJ, former member DBSK. ^_^

Yup! I like her much more now that she's serious - She's cute still, but she was a little annoying at the beginning.. And my feelings for Rian/Lian are totally the opposite - I started off being ambivalent about her, I knew she would be set up as Hye Sung's main rival, but I was willing to accept her problems and just wait for her to change over the episodes.. Which hasn't happened.. (Instead she seems to have become the kind of B****y character people just love to hate.. (I think Baek Hee in the first season was more successful in being antagonistic, but still showing growth over the episodes.. )

AGREE! Baek Hee's growth as a character was really complex. I can't say she's my fave but she really grew the most in the first series. Her issue was way beyond those of her peers. Lian, on the other hand, oh gawd...what is her issue? They could've made her a ruthless Starfish competitor, a loaded character with an attitude. I don't mind if she's being a b**** as long as she has the right to do so.
I just watched finish ep1... & the No.1 thing i like about this show...
