I think there is some strong competition right now, especially with other currently airing historical Moonlight drawn by Clouds.

Yeh i dunno :( people might be waiting to watch it when more episodes have been aired. There are so many good dramas ongoing atm im onky just keeping up! This is by far my favourite though. Going to hate waiting all week :-(

I have been wondering this very same thing. From what I can gather, a lot of it is that Moonlight Drawn By Clouds is airing at the same time on a different network and also started a week earlier. However, there has also been a tremendous amount of hate directed at IU. It turns out that she has been involved in a number of scandals this past year and her image has gone down in Korea. That has a lot to do with it, unfortunately. :(
