There's a lot drama with time skip but if until it's old, a Chinese historical drama Good Bye, My Princess fit. Delusional ML saw with his eyes FL slit her throat in front of him but after he got old and passed the throne to a relative he went to search FL, believing FL was still alive and hiding herself because of past grudge.
