Hi guys :)

You might not be looking for this but I would highly recommend watching SKAM season 3.

SKAM is actually a norvegian web series and has 4 season. Every season has the same characters but each of them focuses on a different character's life. So season 3's plot revolves around Isak and Even. You don't need to watch the previous seasons to understand season 3.

I absolutely don't want to spoil anything about the show but please, please give it a try! You guys won't be disappointed :)

Yeah i feel u , I dont watch aliens too lol but im trash to supernatural cutey aspect or lets say magic  that do goodnees  :)

Im not biased to GL it.wasnt the main issue there the after math  or the plot twist of their love is what makes the movie great

Thx for your time and I ll  give a try to ur recommendations .

If you enjoyed Like Love, maybe you'll find Ossan's Love (The series) funny as well.  I was gonna pass on this because I'm not too keen on the actors (maybe I'm biased towards Flower Boys) - but I found a lot of good reviews about it so I gave it a shot - and the drama is just a riot.  The movie version was okay for me but the Drama is better.

I looked up best LGBT movies of all time and the only Asian offering in a lot of them is " Happy Together " (1997).

Lol. I'm watching Sotus S and forcing myself to finished it too. It's actually really boring. But I'm not a quitter and hoping it could turn interesting.

Yeah, I did not enjoy Sotus S at all,  it fell flat compared with the first one. Sadly most sequels do not  live up to the first one, regardless whether BL or not. Hopefully Together With Me sequel doesn't suffer the same fate.

I'm watching Waterboyy right now. It's quite good. Same as 2moons. You should try. If you watched it already, then re-watch it. LOL

If you are willing to watch non-Asian films, I recommend

Maurice (1987) - stars James Willowby, Hugh Grant, Rupert Graves

I find non-Asian BL films do offer more depth than their Asian BL counterparts....perhaps due to the more reserved Asian culture, and therefore non-Asian BL films have more of a headway than Asian BL ones. However, Asian BL films have come a long way since then and frankly if this was a non-Asian website, I would have discussed the merits of individual non-Asian BL films, but alas this site is geared towards Asian Dramas, so I am trying to  avoid the topic.  Meanwhile, there are Asian BL gems out there that you can find if you dig hard enough.

Of note though, I think if Chinese dramas like "Advance Bravely", "Revive", "My Beloved Enemy", "The Guardian" and the like would have actual skinship in them as in the novels (but of course not explicit), then they would have been better I think because it would leave no doubt of them as BL like "Addicted" rather than blurring the lines between BL and Bromance. Curiously enough I am surprised that "Ambiguous Focus" managed to come out of Chinese production despite the "Ban"....maybe there is hope for the future of Chinese BL drama/movies.

Fair enough. Actually I was just responding to Original Poster of this thread after seeing several other  members post non Asian suggestions here, as the topic of the thread is just a general "BL that doesn't suck".  I also agree with you that there are plenty of Asian BL dramas and films that are worth watching, and I made a separate post with some of the Asian  BL that I would reccomend.

I want this kind of Bl

Like Eugene

I am watching "The Pornographer " (Japanese BL) right now, so far so good (if anybody is  into dark erotic BL).
