Hello, I am very new to the world of lakorns and so far the one and a bit that I have seen have been set at a university. Is there a reason why everyone wears white shirts/blouses and black pants/skirts?

I think it's just the typical uniform style? Like Japan has the sailor style and more formal jacket style.

Yes. I assume uniforms are mandatory in all(?) school levels
