Recommendations!

It gets a bit slow towards the middle, but I do love this show! Park Seo Joon is adorable!!

Interesting look at arranged marriage and traditional Buddhist temple life. I kept asking myself why the FL was willing to even consider marrying the guy!

“Noona Romance” - older woman/younger man. A lovely romance that also managed to touch on all sorts of aspects of Korean culture - biases against orphans, parental interference, sexism in the work place, the list goes on! And the food - the characters are always eating and drinking!! You’ll want beer and fried chicken when you’re done watching this!

It’s a zombie drama! Set in the Joseon Era (16th century)! It is a bit gruesome, but it kept me engaged the entire time!

Absolutely fluffy Chinese coming of age romance! Chinese Romantic dramas set in high school/college are an entire mood, and this is one of my favorites. It’s silly and sweet! The male lead is a textbook definition of a Tsundere! The Chinese version is better than the Korean version…

Amazing! This actress is also one of my favorites. 

Chinese drama. I loved it for the relationship between the two dads. 

The actor who plays two parts (king/clown) is amazing. 

Fluffy….Chinese college life….

Easy to watch, rom com! The ML/FL  got married in real life a few months ago!

I love this movie - it’s overly dramatic and super far fetched, but who cares! Also, they remade it in turkey and that version is great as well!

Shava and I both really liked this movie! 

It’s like cotton candy - light and airy! Completely different from other Chinese rom coms!

Funny, even though it touches on some pretty heavy topics for a kdrama…

Another little bit of fluff! A Chinese drama that I enjoyed, as did one of my new teachers (Vittoria)!
