Not perfect, but still worth watching

I just finished watching Heesu in Class 2 and it wasn’t that bad at all. I know some people complained about it, and yeah, I get it — the straight couple definitely had way more screen time than the bl couple, which was kinda annoying. But at least it wasn’t one of those bls where they force a kiss scene in the first episode just for the sake of it.

I actually really liked how the story focused a lot on friendship too. It felt real and not just like a side thing. The straight couple was okay I guess, just a little too much sometimes, but they still showed a different part of high school relationships.

The bl part was super cute, and the slow build-up made it way more emotional in the end. I got really excited while watching it, and it honestly left a warm feeling. Definitely not perfect, but still really sweet and worth a watch if you want something soft.

When a Crime Story Becomes Something More

Nobody Knows is a dark and deeply emotional drama that quickly pulls you in with its intense atmosphere and strong story. It focuses on the investigation of a serial killer, but it's far more than just a crime show. Each episode is full of suspense, and there's never a dull moment. I found myself thinking constantly, trying to piece together all the clues and understand what was really happening. The mystery is layered and complex in a way that keeps your mind engaged throughout the series.

What stands out the most are the incredible performances. Kim Seo-hyung delivers a powerful portrayal of Cha Young-jin, a detective haunted by her past. Her character is quiet and reserved, yet full of emotional depth. I also have to highlight Ahn Ji-ho, who played Go Eun-ho. He was truly outstanding, especially considering how young he was at the time. His performance was natural and deeply moving, and some of the most emotional scenes in the series come from him.

The drama doesn't rely on fast-paced action but builds tension through its storytelling, character development, and psychological depth. Every episode brings new questions, twists, and emotional moments. The cinematography, lighting, and music all help create a moody and immersive experience that fits the story perfectly.

Overall, Nobody Knows is a brilliant drama that blends crime, emotion, and human psychology in a thoughtful and gripping way. It left a strong impression on me, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys serious, well-acted, and emotionally powerful stories.

Not what i was hoping for

I started watching Business as Usual because I saw an edit on TikTok and thought it might be something I’d like. But honestly, it didn’t really pull me in. Even though the last episode isn’t out yet, I already feel like it’s not for me.

The whole series is really short—it only has six episodes, and they’re not even that long. Because of that, everything feels super rushed. Things happen so fast that there’s no time to really get to know the characters or feel connected to the story. Right at the beginning, there’s a scene that seems really serious, but then it turns out to be a misunderstanding. That was kind of disappointing. And later on, there’s another moment where the characters misunderstand each other again. It all felt a bit messy and too quick.

The story is about a guy who runs into his ex-boyfriend at work after ten years. That idea could’ve been interesting, but for me, it just didn’t hit. I’m still watching it just because I’ve already started, but I’m not really enjoying it. It’s not the worst thing ever, but definitely not something I’d watch again.

Mouse: The Predator – A Terrifying Yet Fascinating Perspective

"Mouse: The Predator" was an incredibly intense and dark extension of the main story. Seeing events from the Predator's perspective added even more depth to the drama. It wasn’t just a simple addition, but a fascinating insight into his mind – witnessing his murders, cold-blooded nature, and meticulous planning was terrifying yet captivating.

Every moment kept me on edge and made me question the thin line between a monster and a human. Lee Seung-gi delivered an absolutely brilliant performance – his transformation was chillingly convincing. This special sequel perfectly complemented the main series and showed just how well-thought-out and psychologically complex the entire story was.

A Game of Truth and Revenge

Revenge of Others is one of those dramas that pulls you in before you even realize how deep you've gone. What might seem at first like a typical teen mystery quickly turns into a much darker and more emotionally layered story. It’s a revenge-driven thriller set in a high school, but it doesn’t rely on cliché tropes or flat characters—every episode adds something new, something that makes it harder to stop watching.

At the center of it all is Ok Chan Mi, a strong-willed and emotionally driven protagonist whose twin brother has died under mysterious circumstances. Her decision to transfer to his school and search for answers becomes the heart of the series. I appreciated how grounded and human she felt—she’s not a perfect hero, but she’s persistent, sharp, and deeply affected by grief. Her journey is full of emotional highs and lows, and it’s easy to root for her as she pieces together what happened.

The drama introduces several other key characters who each bring complexity to the story. Ji Soo Heon, for example, is someone who feels like a mystery from the start. He’s carrying a lot on his shoulders, including a serious health issue, and that influences his choices in surprising ways. His dynamic with Chan Mi adds another emotional layer to the show—there’s trust, but also distance, and you’re never quite sure how much he’s hiding.

Another important presence is Seok Jae Beom, a student with memory loss who struggles to understand his past and his place in the story. His confusion mirrors the viewer’s uncertainty, and following his journey adds suspense and tension. The way the drama slowly gives you pieces of his puzzle is really well done.

Of course, there’s also a character who seems calm and trustworthy on the surface, but gradually reveals a more calculating side. Without giving away too much, I’ll just say that this character keeps the tension alive all the way through. Their influence spreads across many of the events, and you’re constantly guessing how involved they really are.

The series also explores themes like justice, loyalty, trauma, and the blurry lines between right and wrong. No one is entirely innocent or evil, and that makes the characters feel real. Their pain, secrets, and motivations all feel believable, and as a viewer, you're drawn into their internal struggles just as much as the mystery itself.

Visually, the drama has a moody, cold atmosphere that matches the tone perfectly. The pacing is solid—there’s always something happening, but it never feels rushed. And the soundtrack adds a haunting, emotional backdrop to many of the key scenes.

The ending left me with a mix of emotions. It’s intense, a bit tragic, and also strangely satisfying. Some things are left open to interpretation, which I personally liked—it reflects how messy and complicated life (and revenge) can be.

In short, Revenge of Others surprised me. It’s not just about revenge—it’s about how people deal with loss, how far they’re willing to go for justice, and how unclear the truth can be. If you’re looking for a high school drama with depth, suspense, and emotional storytelling, I highly recommend this one. Just be ready to question everything—and everyone.

Class of Lies: Where Power Hides the Truth

Class of Lies is a K-drama that almost discouraged me at the beginning. The first few episodes were slow and a bit confusing – I even thought about stopping. But gradually, the plot started to get so interesting that I didn’t even realize when I got completely hooked. Each episode uncovered new clues, new suspects, and new mysteries, pushing me to keep watching.

The story follows Gi Moo Hyuk, a lawyer whose career is ruined by a scandal. Under a fake name, Gi Kang Jae, he infiltrates an elite high school to secretly investigate the murder of a student and clear the name of a boy he believes is innocent. But the deeper he digs, the more he realizes that the school isn’t just a place for education – it’s a battlefield ruled by power, secrets, and fear.

What makes this drama truly intense is how much influence the powerful figures – especially parents from wealthy families – have over everything. But it’s not just them. Some teachers and school staff seem to go along with whatever those families want. Whether it's to protect their own positions, keep the school's reputation intact, or out of fear, their silence and actions play a big part in allowing the darker things to happen. There’s a sense that some of the adults have simply given up doing what’s right.

The students reflect that system too. Some act as if they're above the rules, using money or influence to hide their wrongdoings. Others get caught in the crossfire, victims of bullying or pressure they can’t escape. You often get the feeling that everyone’s playing a role – and very few people are willing to face the consequences of their actions.

The most unforgettable character is Yoo Beom-jin, played by Lee Jun Young, who gives an absolutely amazing performance. He’s calm, polite, and always seems to have the right answer – but the more we learn about him, the more questions we have. He’s one of those characters that keeps you guessing the whole time. Just when you think you understand him, something shifts.

And then there's the final episode. (light spoiler) Something unexpected happens right at the end, leaving things open and slightly unsettling. It gives a sense of resolution, but not the full kind of justice you’d hope for. It’s a happy ending in some ways, but not for everyone – and that’s what makes it feel real and bittersweet.

Class of Lies is a gripping, psychological thriller with powerful social commentary. It’s not just about solving a crime – it’s about corruption, fear, and what happens when truth gets buried under power. If you're looking for something smart, suspenseful, and emotionally deep, this drama is worth every minute.

A Slow-Burn Mystery with Deep Emotions and Symbolism

Nine Puzzles is a psychological thriller that immediately draws you in with its eerie atmosphere, slow-burning tension, and intricate mystery. From the beginning, the story revolves around a series of murders, each accompanied by a small jigsaw puzzle piece – a symbolic clue that sets the tone for the entire drama. While it initially seems like a straightforward crime investigation led by a skilled profiler, the deeper layers reveal emotional wounds, hidden connections, and complex motives.

The pacing of the drama is deliberately slow, allowing the viewer to absorb subtle details and gradually piece together the bigger picture. Every episode adds a layer to the narrative, challenging the viewer to think beyond the obvious and consider the emotional undercurrents driving the characters. The writing is clever and restrained, leaving breadcrumbs that only make sense in retrospect.

One of the drama’s strongest elements is its portrayal of trauma and how it shapes people over time. The characters are not one-dimensional heroes or villains – they are deeply human, shaped by loss, guilt, and memory. The emotional core of the story is tied to childhood events that echo into the present, and the drama handles these themes with care. You can feel the lingering pain and confusion, especially in how memory, regret, and longing influence behavior.

Visually, Nine Puzzles stands out with its muted color palette and symbolic imagery. The recurring motif of puzzles is not just a plot device, but also a metaphor for identity, understanding, and healing. The production design helps build a world that feels both realistic and haunting.

While I won’t go into spoiler territory, I will say that the reveal near the end is both surprising and emotionally resonant. It’s less about shock value and more about the realization of how everything connects. The final episodes are especially poignant, with moments that are heart-wrenching and thought-provoking.

The drama ends on an ambiguous note, suggesting that the story might continue. A new crime surfaces, with a puzzle piece hinting at a potential sequel or a broader mystery yet to unfold. This open-ended finish leaves room for speculation and invites viewers to keep thinking even after the credits roll.

In conclusion, Nine Puzzles is a haunting, intelligent drama that explores grief, memory, and the darker parts of human psychology. It’s ideal for viewers who enjoy mystery dramas that go beyond the usual detective tropes and dive into emotional and philosophical territory. I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates slow-burn thrillers with depth, symbolism, and strong character development.
