Errr did KWB get a nosejob? His nose looks different in an awkward way 😅The blonde hair is cool though.
looks normal to me but I mean....he did have nasopharyngeal cancer so it would not surprise me if treatment and possible surgery had an impact. But truly, for me he looks like he always did.

tbh I was only aware of OCN dramas, not the other studios. I will have to pay closer attention now. Thank you for pointing it out! Yes you caught it very well. Noir stories, kinda similar to the Skandi/nordic noir types, these are not market sellers with the teens to early/mid 20ties kids. And thus we continue to starve for good quality...
I watched till episode 6 twice, around 4 years ago. A decent episodic drama but doesn't really have a clear overarching…
it does. there is a story of revenge and what it takes for someone to step away from their morals. It is a very good drama that will hook people if they are into crime/thrillers. If that is not your genre, then you are definitely not the best candidate for it ;)

you are welcome! Check out some of the Light On dramas (The Bad Kids, Kidnapping Game, Homesick ....) if you are on the lookout. Light On is a collection of unrelated thrillers produced by the Chinese network Iqiyi. Most of them are quite good.
supper curious how this will turn out! The trailer is quite different to Stranger s1 and s2. It is much more humours while still having the dark/eery cinematography. Definitely gonna be interesting how this will turn out.

absolutely agreed! I miss OCN so darn much...... Heck thanks to OCN we had at least one crime/thriller drama ever so often but since it stopped producing drama series.....it has completely vanished.

yeah arthouse style is either making people love it or hate it. I did actually enjoy it but the beginning was a bit too stretched and yeah there were some aspects less well developed, I agree. I also agree with Mouse. Mouse was problematic in many ways. But man.......I'd even be happy with another Mouse if they would just produce more crime-thriller dramas but those have gone extinct in korean dramaland.

I agree. Also "The Bad Kids" follows into this. "Burning Ice", "The Long Night" and "The bad Kids" are all written by the same author, and the main character is in all three the same one. however, each drama has a different version of this character. so while they are connected, they are not truly.
yes it is true that the rating is a bit low for such an interesting drama . all the cast plays perfect !! , but…
the novel is 14 years old .its not that old XD but yeah I get what you mean. Have you read the book? if you did, what do you say to the changes? I do like some but tbh I wish they'd have kept the female detective. I did like the pairing of them solving cases together. Plus it would have been a good build up for a possible sequel. so kinda bummed there but welp.
no romance , main leads with small fun clubs or not at all , not a main stream script ,etc ..... 8.1 is a terrible…
fun story is though that the original story this is adapted from has a romance story. There is a couple that is hinted here but it stays with hinted. I do kinda get why they probably do it but I do think it would have benefited the drama more if they had dug deeper into that and kept more towards the source .
Guys can you recommend me some mystery, crime, and thriller dramas that you really liked and would rate highly?…
Burning Ice (Chinese drama) Burning River (Chinese drama) Trinity of Shadows (Taiwanese drama)
Somebody (korean) (but this is arthouse, so if you liked "The Frog" then you may like this too but arthouse is tricky, you gotta be in into psychological/artistic themes, if you are this is an amazing thriller)
and if you dont mind Western productions try some Nordic Noir series like eg. Chestnut Man, Bron/The Bridge, Bullets, Darkness: Those who kill, Codename: Annika, or also good are McMafia, Dear Child, The Thaw/Odwilz ....... Lol for. thrillers you can always drop me a DM. I have a big list ready :) we will find something for you
uhh I get a feeling that ML is son from CEO's father's affair
ohhh!!!!!! you could be absolutely right! I do think he is some secretly rich/powerful person's kid but what you said would totally make sense! Really good thinking!

And she is really fun to listen to in interviews.
Great actress!
