Viewers need to realize that season 1 was dark because the team had a lot of rage in them from losing their family…
it depends on what you expect in a drama. If you only want to watch it for the actors and characters, Sure it has it's sparks but if you want a well thought through story that pulls you in ? I dunno.....for me they don't truly achieve it this time. I miss the question of how morally right or wrong the taxi group is for taking matters into their own hands. Kang Hana questioned the team there in s1. especially when Go Run exploded that building that had her sisters tapes and accidentally injured the police by doing so. It made you truly reflect on how good or bad self judgement is. Kind like what you see in Devil Judge. But this time around? nothing. You get eye candy yes. You get your wishes if you want just the basic storyline, yes. But anything deeper is not there. It is all quite one dimensional. I still have hopes for ep 15 and 16 though
the drama is so chaotic that I doubt it can be called better than the first one, things are really badly done,…
honestly agree with you. I really really like the cast. all actors are amazing but the story truly did take a huge blow once It stopped following the webtoon
Jun Ji Hyun! I really miss her she does so so so well in her roles. Too bad that Jirisan was such a huge disappointment but wello, im hopeful this one will turn out good
I’m still confused by the ending, would u mind explaining? Who killed the mom? It was the uncle who got slashed…
the mom and the uncle were falling for one another but the mom was too pretty. She didn't accept the village boys and those were then taking their revenge. For me there were 2 scenarios: 1 where the one with the black t-shirt did it, 2. where was forced to do it. Either way, he couldn't speak so no matter what he was the culprit. She became the vegetive person due to what he told her: stay and be like as if you were dead until I get you. And she did that. Until he came back And the last scene was them getting their freedom. Her of finally being released from her trauma and him of finally being freed of his guilt
this is a really really well done article! Big Congrats for your hard work!
Also, I love your line with the "having to know when to stop" theme. That's actually really a smart idea! But it is hard to know when that moment is. I keep on hoping that the next episode will be better....and then the next...and next....and suddenly it's over
Alright so episode 8 and half time of the season and I gotta say from the stories and cases it was quite well done. Sometimes a little illogical but generally very interesting and emotional cases. Oh Ha Joon is a nice addition with quite a mystical appearance. Acting is of course as always top notch. But I really really really miss the team dynamic. I truly wish they'd start to focus more on the team and less on the cases, or intertwine both. Episode 1 opened with Kim DoGi and some flashbacks, I kinda hoped we'd dive into that more but so far.....nada. And the same goes for the other characters. Then also the "punishment" of the offenders. I loved that in season 1 you wondered sometimes if they didn't go too far with their type of punishment. The police procedure was quite interesting on a philosophical part, like how much self judgement is ok and should you even do that to begin with. I sometimes feel like the criminals are not really punished per say. Eg. case in episode 5-6 where you really wished for some legal punishment too but.....nada. So for now its nice but I really hope to see more improvement in the next 8 episodes....from the preview it doesn't seem like ep 9 will go into that direction yet but maybe the episodes following? Hopefully hopefully. .....I'd love to see more of the team building and dynamic, more of their past and also maybe more with Oh Ha Joon and his story and less of random revenge plots.
I am not a judge but I don't understand why people think something is okay just because it's legal in their country.…
I agree with you but I still think that help is something we need to think of first. Drug abuse is something that is often linked with mental health problems and I do think that especially in the entertainment industry that is a huge huge huge problem.

I really really loved that a lot. And the ending is quite surprising
that way you are guaranteed to have the fan community present.

2 of these friends have a good ending
2 have a sad one.

6,5/10
that's kinda the problem.
I cannot wait! finally something is happening after 9 episodes of only cases
I honestly think s1 had more romantic vibes between them than this season had so far.
But I really really really miss the team dynamic. I truly wish they'd start to focus more on the team and less on the cases, or intertwine both.
