ohhh yes something is definitely also up with Gu Reum. Either she was also "experimented on" or something else. Her father was basically THE scientist who created Zi O so maybe she was also a result of an experiment or he did something to her after the incident with Zi O and Gu Reum as a kid.

I am not completely sure but she is one candidate i do suspect it to be. Thing is the words the person speaks before they drop the baby are the exact same ones Gu Reum said to Zi O in episode 8 but the voice sounds more like the one of the head scientists (who says he is Zi O's father).
Another thing: the baby looks to be at least a few months older so maybe we get another time skip? Or maybe its a complete different baby.
But yeh if they do get a 2nd season its probably gonna be one of the scenarios you named.

I think its either what you said or they choose this as the title for an open ending. Like We all know Zi O and his baby (from what the trailer for episode 9 let on) are different. Throughout the drama the scientists argue humans need to adapt and their gene material has hit a dead end. Zi O is the first experiment where they try to create a better and newer human. Now all clones failed but then there is his baby girl, who is a success. So maybe she might be the start for a new type of human. And her mixing into the normal species of humans is the new start of a new version of human => a beginning.

i completely forgot about the opening scene! You are probably right. Either its Gu Reum or its Zi O. The voice that spoke to the baby did not sound like Gu Reums but it were the words she did say.
Oh man that does not truly speak for a good ending of our main leads ;-;

But the investigation is there. However instead of focusing on multiple cases they focus on one specific one.

no its truly just like Signal. You have a girl and a guy from 2 different timelines communicating via a phone. Cinematographic wise it is really well done but it just cannot catch the feeling of Signal.
I have not watched Sisyphus but LUCA is completely different.

I have only seen Signal but yes this is like a weaker copy of it

wow cinematographic wise its like watching a movie. Truly well done. But the story is hella confusing. They leave huge parts unanswered without even having the main character question anything. I hope we get some answers in the next 2 episodes

We dont know yet if that girl died or if she is just badly hurt. Honestly I think she is just badly hurt.

I think it is her. Take a look at the necklace and then compare it to the one she is seen wearing while singing.
the chain is very similar.

But an 8.6 rating for the first season is not too bad. Most dramas that are done quite well are around that range. Only very few manage to truly stay on the 8,8-9.1 scale.

my guess is that our main lead is an experiment on trying to reconstruct a Luca form. I dont think he is THE Luca form though but maybe the closest they have yet to come to. But im sure they will go into this in the next few episodes.

in terms of humor this was really fun to watch but it confused me regarding the storyline or more like, the story timeline-wise. 8/10

I never laughed so much watching a drama as this one. It was perfection in everything BUT the last 2 episodes. What an extreme disappointment those were.....seriously they did everything so darn well but the last two episodes felt like they were written by someone else. Its like they tried to follow the storyline of "Some day or one day" but stayed stuck in the middle.
Non the less, since the 18 episodes previously were so well done and fresh, since the background music is absolutely amazing and the cast did such a well job acting wise, its a 9/10.

no romance as in no kiss scenes but feelings and confessions are there. The teamwork is more focused on throughout the drama.

It is your typical fake-marriage turns to romance thing with a rich girl subplot. But they go even furtherer and add a cute little boy into the mix later on. Its a truly well done drama with lost of sweet and hilarious moments. 9/10

So this is an up and down. The beginning is fun but it drags afterwards. In the last 5 episodes we get somewhere with the couple and are awarded with some cute scenes but it is not enough to make up for the very predictable story. The last episode i did not understand at all in terms of the female lead. Generally the female lead makes some very strange decisions.
Most interesting I found the story of the support female lead. Its a shame they did not go deeper into this. I think if they had revolved the drama around her than it would be awarded with a higher rating.
This way its a 7/10 for me.

dont even try to connect them XD its all over the place. Just think of this season as a complete standalone
otherwise you will get a headache
