wow! This was absolutely amazing! The drama is amazingly done, the cinematographic was absolutely awesome! Also the characters where not like the typical clichee ones. And the story....the story was one of the most interesting I have ever seen. At the beginning it takes a little to get pulled into the drama and not wanting to stop watching it, but once it does catch ones interest, there is no stopping it. The only problem I have is the ended. They could have left it at a slight more conclusive way and less open. Granted there is already the 2nd season but non the less it is a little annoying. Non the less its a 10/10 for me
I loved this! It was so cute, funny and very enjoyable to watch. The cinematographic was very artistic done, the songs are golden, the couple makes you feel like you are enjoying a very sweet dessert. I truly would have liked to watch more episodes of this but 24 ....so be it The only point i did not enjoy were the occasional absolute ridiculous moments and the huge switch from being focused on cooking to becoming a pure romance drama. The female lead lost her whole passion for her profession. But apart from these points it is a solid 9/10
and then there is a lazy version; the youtube-video- recommendation some people upload XD best of course with some scenes that make you curious but not enough to spoiler everything.
I've watched The Road Home several times already and her face there was so fresh, youthful and exuberant. That…
She is only a teen in the first few episodes. If they go by the novel years at least. But even if they dont, her mature look will go more well with her role as the episodes go on ;)
Fun interview with mostly the actors who play main characters. It has some personal info about their time during shooting and some background info regarding their clothing choice and behind the scene moments.
Should I expect a happy ending or a sad one? At least how does it end in the novel?
there is a music video on the official yt channel that basically spoilers everything. Seems like it has a happy ending The novel itself ends with them achieving their dream but its more on the tragedy side. However some things have already been changed so how much of that ending will be a given is questionable.
In terms of chemistry between the main leads its rare to see something so realistic. You truly would question the actors status with each other XD It feels so real. Truly lovely bantering and bickering. The OST is also quite remarkable. Well done. The story itself had a lot of potential but the balance between story, character development and going somewhere with it is not truly maxed out and it does become a bit draggy after episode 30. Also some scenes are not conclusive so occasionally the viewer feels a little lost. Still I really enjoyed it 7,5/10
i really want to watch this because of johnny but i need more convincing because the comments scare me lol
Its not bad. Johnny and the female lead have absolutely great chemistry with each other. The couple scenes in general are truly nice to see and feel quite real. The story itself is getting flat after episode 30 but if you want to skip the main story and just focus on the couple, go for it. :)
A great mixture of different couples with different problems and wishes. It is quite realistic and has a nice portrayal of different opinions regarding age gaps, modern relationships, divorces and so on. The only problem i had was that the chemistry of the main couple felt a bit flat. Non the less 8,5/10 for me
What a lovely, funny and absolutely adorable drama this was. The story is nothing special but it is so well delivered that it makes you never forget it. And it definitely has its fair share of cute romance moments. Well done. The only thing I could have done less with are the many flashbacks, especially during the last 5 episodes. Apart from this its a 9,5/10 for me.
What a wonderful short web drama this was. Truly it is something you will not regret giving a try! Very well done, nice story, great characters. The only thing i find a bit sad is that it is only a web drama. This truly has the potential to become a full 16 episode drama. Maybe someday :) for now its a 9/10
I guess the bottom line is: humans are self focused greedy beings.
What I truly loved about this drama was how well they made this; cinematographic and also content wise this was never boring to watch. Quite the opposite. It was one "what the heck did i just see" moment after the next.
Character development it was well done when it comes to the adults but sadly the kids lost out big. Many scenes were deleted with them, which made the jump from one scene to the next appear to be confusing. I wish they would have reduced on some plot-parts and instead added some of those deleted scenes. With that it would have helped understand the plot a bit more when it comes to the kids. for me its a 9,5/10

I cannot wait what she will say about Rebel Princess/Monarch Industry
But even if they dont, her mature look will go more well with her role as the episodes go on ;)
