did i misunderstand or hyewon will also have a childhood conection with jamie and jungwoo? i mean... that picture…
it sounds more like her father was one of the initiators for the experiment that those kids were exposed to. In episode 1 after they did the card-change experiment Jungwoo said to her that she got a special treatment. I found that line weird back then especially adding his facial expression but it would make sense now if her father was one of the heads back then. But then its all assumptions for now.
After seeing the anime trailer I got curious about this movie. What an amazing piece this is. It is brutal raw and honest, especially the ending. Well done. 9,5/10
So the good parts first: the drama had an absolute amazing background OST. 10/10 for that. It was always right on track with pulling one in, especially since the story sadly lacked that. Acting wise it was also well done. And that is where the good parts end.
Now the bad parts: The story was all over the place. There was not a red continuous line. Instead it was jumping everywhere and often had not very logic parts. Its not a surprise that the ending was because of that rushed and unsatisfying.
All in all, the drama had a tremendous potential, sadly it was not used. 6/10
What a wonderful drama this was. It has such a deep massage and is so very realistic. You fall in love with these kids, learn their problems and situations, see them grow and become adults. Through all of this we never loose the importance of family and relationships. its truly well done. The only critic i have is when it comes to the losses. Neither the death of Jian Jian's mother nor the death of Ling Xiao's sister seem to have any impact on the characters themselves although they are the reason for the story to begin with even. I would have wished those 2 at least being more mentioned or playing a bit of a bigger role. Only in the end do we learn they are still even there. Apart from that its a nicely done drama, 9/10
well done drama It was a mix of humor and drama. They had a nice balance of both and kept the ending in this type as well. I truly think this was a nicely done drama. The only thing that i found a bit bothersome was the phase. Occasionally it was a bit too stretched while on the end it moved rather quickly to its closure. Non the less 8,5/10 for me
lol i think you see 2008 a bit too extreme. I remember that year very well, it was not much different than it is today XD the only difference are phones. Movie/Tv-wise we would not have been aware of the broad variety of different asian shows ay, but there were some here already and you could find them online too. It truly was not sooooo extremely different now if you go back to 1998 that would be something else ;)
I truly loved this season. It was so well developed and thought through. Rarely did they do cases from episode 1 to episode 16 so well done. Acting wise it was once again a gem. 9,5/10 for me
The whole drama is very unrealistic but non the less it catches one with its sweet and funny moments and makes it a nice escape. I originally dropped it because of the unrealistic first episode but I do truly not regret giving it another try. They did a nice job
A surprisingly very well done manga-adaption. The family relation is a mess, but then those who read the manga and especially the sequel know that well, however they pulled off a truly well done movie. 8/10
This was very much an artistic and symbolistic movie. It did confuse me often but non the less for its uniqueness it was definitely something else. 7/10
the animation and the effects were very well done. Sadly the story fell quite flat. It was predictable, clichee, and had not much logic to offer. For me its a 5/10
I love it
absolutely love it
