Extremely frustrating avoid unless you want to be irritated

Minato is a complete dick leading Shin on for 2 seasons. He's so repressed. After season 1 after he finally agreed to be with Shin he just kept stringing Shin along. He refused to develop their relationship with Shin and kept him at arm's length or even further. He would claim he loved Shin back but he did absolutely nothing to deserve Shin for him to stay as long as he did. If anything he did everything possible to make Shin to stop liking him whenever he tried to be romantic with Minato. For 2 seasons I wish for Shin to finally come to his senses and stop pursuing Minato. Minato even had to get drunk just for poor Shin to hear Minato didn't want to be in love but didn't want to be alone either. He is just a hypocrite and poor Shin had to deal with Minato's indecisiveness. It was so painful to watch, you would think a 30+ yr old would be more mature but it was Shin who was the mature one. He would legit just give poor Shin breadcrumbs whenever he would feel the distance grow between them after he would keep pushing Shin away and poor Shin would always come crawling back cuz he was so stubborn to give up the hope Minato would finally give Shin the affection he's craved for yrs from Minato. Minato absolutely doesn't deserve Shin whatsoever. Every time you would think we are going to get a romantic moment with them and watch their relationship finally blossom Minato runs, screams, and pushes Shin away every single time! Like in S1 it makes sense cuz Shin was still a child but they did the time jump right before S1 ended and Shin was an adult so you would of thought Minato would stop being that way but alas no Minato is still like that even after Shin is in his 20s, going to university and working. Even when they live together for a while cuz Shin's house is getting renovated Minato doesn't want Shin anywhere near him even when they go on vacation. I even took a break from watching it and only started to watch it again cuz I have a friend who started to read the manga. She has a habit of spoiling everything cuz she can't keep her mouth shut so I started up where I left off and remembered why I put the drama on hold. I can't stand Minato, I just think Minato kept Shin around cuz he liked all the attention Shin showered him with cuz he was lonely and didn't even like Shin romantically. He probably thinks he does but can't ever get physical with him or say I love you. I also really hate how for 2 seasons we don't get anything romantic and when Minato finally lets Shin get close he gets into an accident and the stupid author gave Shin amnesia gotta love the never-ending drama just cuz. Only just cuz Shin forgot who he was that's when he started to show he cared for him and I was already fed up with the show..... if it wasn't for Shin's friend and sister Minato was about to let Shin go. honestly, I think it would have been for the best cuz he isn't good for Shin. Shin would of had a better chance to find someone who would of actually shown him the love he deserves and not have someone like Minato to play with his emotions. Even after all the efforts of their friends Minato still refused to let Shin get close to him even if it was to help Shin jog back his memories a complete waste of a story tbh. Shin was even willing to let them help him, especially Minato. You would see Shin even after he forgot he was dating Minato his feelings for him were still there. Even Shin knew something was going on between them but couldn't remember what it was. I didn't like how Minato made it seem like Shin and he were so close when Shin was asking him all these questions until Shin asked where their relationship was and Minato finally admitted their relationship level was nothing cuz he refused Shin to let him develop their romance together. Even hearing himself say there relationship wasn't going anywhere Shin still wanted to try, but stupid Minato after everything of feeling depressed about Shin losing his memory and spent all day with him trying to help Shin remember him was still willing to give up on Shin. After they argue they finally get back together cuz Shin finds a letter Minato wrote but never gave Shinl, once he read it all of a sudden all of his memories magically came back and that's when they finally spend a romantic night together, and only cuz Shin reminded him that he can't run away after kissing cuz the idiot was about to run away again after shin started to get all touchy-feely on Minato was trying to run away from having sex and if it wasn't for Shin reminding him they got into that mess cuz of Minato constantly running away they slept together but Minato was still like ehh to close. The show does have a good ending but not really worth the stress of seeing Minato play Shin so badly. It's such a shame how the story gets played out cuz both actors have such amazing chemistry together and we would have had so many great moments of them if the writers of the manga didn't keep making Minatos character into such a dick. The moments we got robbed due to Minato's lack of courage of not being honest with himself and leading Shin on for so long.

DON’T READ IF YOU DON’T WANT MAJOR SPOILERS

I liked how everyone was excepting even if Porsche father was uncomfortable with his son being gay at first but was open enough to change. This is about two college friends who where roommates at 1st and fell in love with each other at 1st sight but where scared of their real feeling because of Thailand’s society of homosexuality. After 4 years of being friends Porsch decided that on their 4 year of friendship he was going to try and tell Nueng that he had feelings for him before graduation. Of course in Thai drama there is always a damn girlfriend. Neung gets dumped by his girlfriend Jane when she starts realizing her boyfriend is gay. Nueng and Porsche end up together quite quickly literally right after Nueng gets dumped. After graduation Porsch moves into Nuengs house to take some time off of school and be with his boyfriend. People find out quickly that Porsche and Nueng are in a relationship, Nueng parents accepted the relationship quickly. Porsches parents show up randomly. There is no real sense of time so everything feels speed up. Porsches parents are told by him he is gay and is in a relationship his dad gets ill and goes to the hospital. He eventually excepts the relationship. More time passes both Porsche and Nueng get engaged and plan to get married even if it’s not seen legal in Thailand. Jane shows up with a baby, Porsche gets jealous because Nueng feels like he needs to watch over Jane because they are friends even though they haven’t seen each other since they broke up. The baby belongs to another man, he left her high and dry. Nueng let’s her work for his family, Porsche gets even more jealous, Jane becomes sick.... she dies. I don’t understand why no one contacts Janes family through the whole time Jane is sick and potentially dying. This show is filled with holes. They magically adopt and raise Janes child as their own still no family members of Jane or the ex boyfriend of Jane the father of the baby. Before Jane dies Porsche and Nueng gets married and Nueng dies “of a heart attack” at their wedding. They don’t explain how Jane does but it was caused by the illness they just don’t say when. Ohh and I forgot to mention Porsch has an damn imaginary friend which you don’t find out until the last episode. This whole time I thought his female friend was a real PERSON. Porsche And Nuengs family raise Janes daughter and you as a baby to a small child near the end of the series. Once his female imaginary friend disappeared she changed into Porsches husband instead saying to take care of Janes child. The story was sweet because Porsch and Nueng didn’t have the drama of people of keeping them apart they actually where a couple and didn’t try to hide it. They got “married” in the eyes of their family and friends. I just hate how Porsche ended up a damn widow. He wasn’t even married with Nueng for a day less than a day. If you don’t care about happy endings go ahead watch it but this isn’t for people who want to watch a romantic series and expect a happy ending because you aren’t getting one. Also all these people you see at the intro of the series they never show up. You will see random couples, secondary roles and you only see them at the intro. The whole series is of Porsche, Nueng, Porsches parents who where there temporarily, Nuengs parents, Jane, Janes new/ex boyfriend aka baby daddy, we see Janes family once, random classmates, random employees at Nuengs families business but not the people at the intro credits of the show.

After watching the show progress I was getting excited when I finally got to see Tine accept Sarawat ,they went from one man Sarawat trying to win Tines heart for most of the series and you can see how much Wat loved Tine and starting to fall for Wat. After they got together all the romance and effort Wat did to win Tines heart went out the window and instead of showing two men being in a new relationship and being madly in love with one another we got two men who had a small affection for each other but didn’t even really show them as a couple besides them living together and everyone knew they where dating. It was two men who where awkward with each other and every time they where going to finally show they both of them being romantically involved they got interrupted. Now let me get this out of the way we don’t always have to see them making out or having sex to prove they are dating but the fact they “kissed twice” which technically wasn’t even a kiss and it was a one sided kiss from Wat kissing Tine to prove yo him that Wat was serious for Tine is completely ridiculous. We didn’t get a tap kiss to show affection, a kiss on the cheek or forehead, they never went on a date, no skinship like holding hands. All we got was when they cuddled twice on a sofa. One before Tine accepted Wat at his old house and two when Type Tines brother sleeping Wat and Tines bed. Right after they moved in the stupid director made Tine into a paranoid bf and not trusting Wat over his 1st love and then making Pam into a jealous friend who wanted to steal Wat from Tine. Soon after Pam broke them up tried to make things right which annoyed me cuz she knew Wat was dating Tine. After Tine went to make up with Wat we couldn’t even get them making up correctly it was so dumb how they “made up” during the concert and how they jumped 1 year later and they showed less affection to one another it was painful to watch especially because they where “supposedly dating for a year” but they just seemed like two male friends who claim they are dating. If they make a 2nd season they need to fix with the huge mistakes they did with WatTine and even the side couples who basically got put to the side until the very end of the series. Also like most people have brought up this series didn’t even feel like a bl to much yes they where open about two men liking each other but it felt like a bromance at times, hell some bromance series feel more like a bl than 2gether did with how things played out.

Feels very realistic and like a movie

Everything was done at a very high professional level and it felt like a movie I just hate how they didn't end up together. As soon as Doona's manager kept coming back after abandoning Doona I just knew her relationship was over and it was gonna be a bad ending. I mean she was able to become a popular singer again but her romantic relationship was over they also gave you an opening ending as well which I hate. I really wanted Won Jun and Doona to have a happy ending but they don't.... you would think after a while of being apart when Doona and Won Jun meet up again they would get back together but they leave you on a cliffhanger after they reconnect so you don't know if they are friends, get back together or their meetup was just a once off after they said they missed one another. Which is a shame cuz the whole series is good but the ending makes me hate the drama entirely and don't recommend it if you are like me and want to see them be together.

This is a bl and bromance click bait series

Already on the 9th ep and this show only has bl and bromance click bait. The entire series is extremely boring and I’ve been skipping parts to find the bl scenes. The actors are doing their best they can with such a badly written story. There has been a lot of missed opportunities to start bl couples which is annoying because there have been a few characters I want to see get together but it doesn’t look like it will happen until probably near the end which happens a lot in click bait bl dramas. Some will have real bl characters but they won’t have any opportunities to get together because they are outed at the end and most likely won’t get a 2nd season or spin off which is a common thing in click bait bl series.

They could of done so much better but they flopped

If you took out the stupid stepbrother plot it was a decent show. These people really need to stop romanticizing rape. I skipped their story entirely ? I only continue to watch it for the main couple other than that the story was something we have seen millions of times, the male lead wants his crush to like him back so he pretends to have the same interest to get close to her gets caught with multiple lies, asks his friend to help him with the lie and both men fall for each other nothing new. If you don't like rape being used as a plot I'd say skip this one cuz even with watching the main couple only you have a better chance of being entertained watching a different bl. If you are bored and need something to watch while looking for a bl I guess you can watch this but it's not that great. Everyone does have a happy ending even tho the side couple should not be with how things played out at the start.

I highly recommend this mini series

This was such a good Japanese BL mini-series, it was so cute and go to the point. I was so impressed with the acting and how the script was written. If you are looking for a happy ending you found the right BL to watch. I would rewatch this again if I was bored or just want to feel soft again. The only downside about this mini-series was too short, I wish the episodes were longer and had more ep. 30 mins per ep 4 eps each was not enough for me and I would have loved to see the main characters develop more while falling in love because with the 4 eps they did a huge jump every couple of years of them being together. They covered about 20+ years in 4 eps other than that I would still recommend this to anyone who loves to watch cute love stories. This should have been made into a movie with how short the series is.

When a friend recommended for me to see the trailer before it was released I was determined to watch this as soon as humanly possible. I knew it was about bullying and struggling from what I’ve seen in the trailer. When I saw it two nights ago I was blown away with the cinematography, the acting, the music selection for the entire movie so we can fee, the emotion of the film. Sorry if I cannot remember names but the lead female character feels so relatable with her struggles about being in poverty, getting bullied and getting ready to graduate high school. We are given a window how it is for students in Asia especially China how hard they have to study and how stressed they get when exams are close. Seeing how different our society is when different countries deal with bullying and cyber bullying. I feel happy that the lead female character was able to find a friend even if it was under not so good of a situation. They where able to help each other out both mentally, emotionally and physically. The lead girl started to give the lead guy the emotional and mental support he needed because he had no one in his life just like the girl and they both helped each other physically because the girl was constantly getting harassed and the lead girl helped the guy because he was always getting into fights so she helped him look for other outlets to spend his time because he was a thug. He was only a thug because he had to survive for money as a minor. You can see their friendship start to blossom the more time they spend together and they start to fall in love. Their romance doesn’t get a lot of attention because this movie is about the bullying in China but it’s hard to deny they are falling in love with each other. It is made clear they are in love when the bullying is so bad that the lead girl almost died and had to shave her head because her bully’s cut off her hair, ripped off her clothes and filmed it. The lead guy was arrested with a group of friends because they were “identified “ as rapist” it was never known who the real rapist was. So as soon as the lead male character was released from jail and found out the girl was harassed you can see how much he is in love with her. We get to see even more how much they are in love when the girls bully shows up dead at a construction site. We end up finding up that the lead girl was so fed up with her bullying constantly bothering her she ended up pushing her down the stairs. The lead female tells the guy and he helps her get rid of the body so they thought and hatched a plan what to do if the body shows up. They do both end up in jail but it was temporary because the lead girl was a victim and the cops had multiple documented evidence either taken by the bullies or people’s confessions. They also let the guy go because all he was doing was protecting someone who was being constantly harassed on a daily basis. So during their time in jail the people in China demanded change in how schools treat bullying on and off campus. When the lead female gets out of jail she becomes an English teacher and she helps out future kids with being bullied and she still has her potential love interest/male friend still following her around and they both seem really happy especially because they got out of the gutter sort of speak. I wish they did explain what the guy was up to, like if he went back to school or has a job. Also if they ended up together or remained close friends especially because he was still following her like he did all those years ago to protect her.

Became one of my instant favorite's

If you want to know if this has a happy ending before you start yes it does.

This show got delayed but it was worth the wait. I'm usually very picky but this show felt very well made. I loved all the actors, it felt super high budget, especially for the time traveling. I really enjoyed this fresh concept in Asian drama especially in BLs. Both male leads had great chemistry it really helped me get immersed in the series I hope they get more series together in the future but we shall see what the future holds. I highly recommend this show if you are curious.

There where times the movie was cute, but the whole time I kept asking myself why was I still watching. I think it was just to get it out of the way and know I didn’t flake on the movie. I’m glad it didn’t have any real drama but the movie was so slow and boring. It lacked any real passion, at some moments I was cringing. I didn’t like that they kept bringing up th age gap between the two main characters when people around them kept saying it was fine/didn’t seemed bothered with it. I also feel like they where trying to hard to portray affection. I don’t know what else to say but to be able to submit this I need to meet a word count.

Super Fluffy and funny very nostalgic

A literal live-action anime film. I felt like I was watching an anime with how the scenes were filmed and acted out. I did enjoy myself and it was straight-up fluff. I does feel strange watching this 10+ yrs later I feel like I'd probably like most of those clothes most of the actors wore in the 2010s but with how my taste in fashion has changed I kept feeling myself cringe but that's how it goes when your preferences change over the yrs. The male lead is still super hot I still find his aesthetic hot. It was so nostalgic feeling even tho I've never seen this film before, but I still recommend this film. It was super cute and it did get a happy ending. Crazy to see how much has changed in 10 yrs.

Similar to The Babadook

If you enjoyed The Babadook you will enjoy this. This is basically the Korean version with some differences. The mother seems to be dealing with severe mental health issues similar to the mother in The Babadook. Hye and Min seem to be going through some hardships due to Min losing his job for plagiarism which they talk about a lot. in the film, but it also seems like Hye might of been dealing with mental health issues well before her husband got into legal trouble at work. I think Hye might be schizophrenic or she was experiencing a severe mental breakdown by the time they moved to their new house. I think their real problem was when they adopted Woo, especially with how the film ended. She was probably already possed or she is probably a demon child. The end leaves you guessing if she was actually responsible for Hye going crazy. She was adopted afterall and Hye started acting differently when Hye and Min adopted her specifically Hye.

Wasted potential

I was really enjoying this show until near the end. I think there is a trend now in 2023 where Korean bls are now avoiding the bl in bl dramas, like they will keep the two men liking each other but will avoid them getting romantic with each other. They made it obvious that the two male leads liked each other and they even admitted it near the end, but they added an unnecessary villain where Tae Hyun friend was jealous that he started to hang out with Da Yeol more often and he felt neglected and it seemed that he liked Tae romantically. He kept interfering so much that he ended up getting Yeol to drop out of school when Tae lied to himself when he told Yeol he didn't like him like that and he was using him which we knew was a lie. Cuz I didn't read the manhwa I don't know how the plot was before it got changed for the drama but I feel like the ending for the drama was supposed to have a sad ending and saw it was going to do bad and had to refilm the ending. I need to read the manhwa to be sure, they had 2 yr jump from when Yeol dropped out and both Tae and Yeol are in university. This time jump seemed so rushed too. After 2 yrs passed they are both in university both Tae nor Yeol haven't seen one other. The ending implied they got together but they never said they were in a romantic relationship. They just started hanging out again after they got reunited again and Tae told Yeol he made a mistake, so Yeol said he would wait for Tae to confess then all of a sudden they are going to the beach and stay at a rented house. They flirt a lot and talk throughout the night. Tae doesn't want to sleep cuz he doesn't want to lose any more time while being with Yeol which was cute don't get me wrong. They had a lot of cute moments together but I feel like the director was avoiding intimacy between them.

It was a good show to pass the time, cute and funny.

First off I'm getting straight to the point before I explain myself if you want to know if the show is worth it. This has an opening ending which pissed me off cuz I fucking hate open endings ruining the whole experience for me cuz now we don't know if there may or may not have a S2. Now I have to hunt down to see Haru the female lead ends up dating. If they didn't end this with an open ending I would have loved this show more. Near the end, you are so confused if Haru ends up with Yoshi or Yu. Haru was very confused at the end making you the viewer confused too. Right before the ending credits, Haru confuses you more after she already turned down Shintaro by saying he still has a chance and you can't tell if she is joking or telling the truth cuz she said she likes men who pay rent cuz all three men don't pay rent cuz they are forever broke. I think that's really messed up even as a joke to give Shintaro hope after she told him she only sees him as a friend while the show leaves us in suspense on who she has feelings for before the show endings saying there is more to come after her grandmother extended her vacation leaving her to still be the landlord to her grandmother's house, which her grandmother is renting her house out to Yoshi, Yu, and Shintaro. As if the show is worth it if you don't mind open endings sure give this a shot. I had fun watching the show until they left everyone hanging so now I'm salty. I wouldn't watch this again but as I already mentioned I dislike open endings.

Enjoyable but could of been so much better.

I started to lose interest after the main couple got together. When I noticed they started slowing down with them I started to focus my attention more on the side couple but they got completely ignored and I hope like everyone said we get a separate season with them. This show has such good potential but the story started to go nowhere when they kept throwing in random plots especially when they added the father who was against the main couple's relationship. They were all good actors tho but the show fell short. The ending felt super rushed and I felt they ran out of story to write, wish they hadn't added an abusive father troupe. If you are looking for a happy ending this show has one but it doesn't feel satisfying.
